Procédé d'assistance d'un conducteur de véhicule (VHL1) jugé dans l'incapacité de conduire au moment de démarrer son véhicule, ledit véhicule étant couplé à un système de navigation (NAV) et à un système de communication (COM) avec au moins un serveur distant (SD) pour transmettre les informations de position du véhicule et d'incapacité du conducteur, caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste à établir une communication entre le véhicule (VHL1) et le serveur distant (SD) apte à proposer au conducteur du véhicule (VHL1) au moins un service de transport alternatif (STA) à partir de la position du véhicule (VHL1) jusqu'à une destination déterminée par le conducteur.
