Abstract
Un système (10) de lecture d'étiquette d'identification radiofréquence (RFID) et un procédé de détermination avec précision et rapidement, en temps réel, des gisements vrais d'étiquettes RFID associées à des articles dans une zone contrôlée. Les faisceaux d'émission et de réception principaux sont orientés sur la zone, et de multiples faisceaux de réception secondaires sont orientés sensiblement simultanément vers une pluralité de gisements dans la zone. L'intensité de signal la plus élevée des signaux de réception secondaires provenant des faisceaux de réception secondaires détermine un gisement d'étiquette approximatif de chaque étiquette. Deux faisceaux de réception secondaires des côtés opposés du gisement d'étiquette approximatif en élévation sont sélectionnés pour obtenir une paire de signaux décalés d'élévation, et deux faisceaux de réception secondaires des côtés opposés du gisement d'étiquette approximatif en azimut sont sélectionnés pour obtenir une paire de signaux décalés d'azimut. Les signaux décalés d'élévation et les signaux décalés d'azimut sont traités pour déterminer un gisement vrai pour chaque étiquette en temps réel.
