Description
The technical sector of the present invention is that of beds for infants, for example for babies, provided with a sliding barrier. Beds of this type are known to have a retractable sliding barrier in order to easily access the child and thus provide the necessary care. For example, it has been proposed a sliding barrier provided with two right and left lugs whose maintenance is ensured by the introduction of these pins in an open groove. To retract the barrier, it is sufficient to lift a few centimeters and extract the pins of the open groove. Then just slide the barrier down. Raising this barrier may result in unintentional retraction of the barrier by a caregiver or otherwise, which does not provide total security. The object of the present invention is to provide a device for blocking a sliding barrier prohibiting its lifting without a positive action of the caregiver. The invention therefore relates to a device 20 for locking a sliding barrier for a bed, characterized in that it comprises at least one movable rod in translation, the distal end of which is intended to engage in a blind housing practiced in a bed amount. According to a feature of the invention, the device 25 comprises two rods arranged in opposition each engaging in a blind housing. According to another characteristic of the invention, the two rods are arranged in the same groove formed in a cross member of the barrier. According to another characteristic of the invention, the translation of the rods is each limited by a pin fixed in the cross member and engaged in a bore made in each bead wire. According to yet another feature of the invention, each bead wire is provided at its proximal end with an operating handle, the proximal end of each bead being disposed at a small distance from each other. According to yet another characteristic of the invention, a spring is disposed between the rods, said spring ensuring the maintenance of a gap between the rods. According to yet another characteristic of the invention, the spring is disposed around a tenon fixed longitudinally and rigidly in a rod and freely flowing in a longitudinal housing vis-à-vis the other rod. According to yet another characteristic of the invention, the drilling of each rod is of oblong shape. A very first advantage of the present invention lies in the fact that the device makes it possible to prohibit any accidental release of the barrier. Another advantage lies in the fact that the release of the barrier results from a voluntary action of the caregiver intervening with the patient. Another advantage of the invention lies in the fact that the handling of the barrier is carried out using the handles. Yet another advantage of the invention is the barrier-free locking. Other characteristics, advantages and details of the invention will be better understood on reading the additional description which will follow of embodiments given by way of example in relation to drawings in which: FIG. perspective view of the barrier according to the invention, - figure 2 shows a front view of the barrier, - figure 3 shows a section of the right rod, - figure 4 shows a section of the left rod, 30 - FIG. 5 shows the assembly of the two rods on the upper crossbar of the barrier, FIG. 6 shows a cross section of the crossbar / rod assembly, FIG. 7 is a detail view of FIG. Fig. 8 is a sectional view of a front view of one of the uprights of the bed, and Fig. 9 shows in section an embodiment of the handle. In Figure 1, there is shown a side view of a child bed barrier 1 consisting of an upper rail 2, a lower rail 3 joined by 5 bars 4. The cross members 2 and 3 are provided with their fingertips 5, only the fingers 5a-5c are visible in this figure. The upper cross member 2 receives in a groove the left 6 and right 7 rods in which these rods are mounted slidably. These rods 6 and 7 are each provided at their proximal end with a handle 8 and 9, respectively. In FIG. 2, which shows a front view of the barrier 1, it can be seen that the rods 6 and 7 are respectively provided with 15 holes 10 and 11 substantially at their middle part in each of which emerge the respective pins 12 and 13. It is seen that the handles 8 and 9 are subjected to the action of a spring 14 maintaining a gap (e) between them. The four fingers 5a-5d are visible in this figure. It can be seen that the ends 6a and 7a of the rods 6 and 7 protrude from the ends of the upper cross member 2. In FIG. 3, a front view of the right rod 7 is shown in section. Central 15a is extended 25 on both sides by the notches 16a and 16b. The bead wire is extended at its distal end 7a by a tenon 17a and is provided at its proximal end 7b with two holes 18a, 18b for fixing the corresponding handle. The proximal end 7b of the rod is provided with a longitudinal bore 19a whose role will be explained below. FIG. 4 shows the left rod 6 whose structure is strictly identical to that of the right rod 7. The central core 15b, the notches 35 16c, 16d, the oblong hole 10, the tenon 17b are found in distal end 6a, piercings 18c, 18d at the proximal end 6b and the transverse piercing 19b. The two rods described above are of identical dimensions, but it goes without saying that they may have different dimensions, for example of different lengths. These rods are preferably made of wood, but they can be made of any material. FIG. 5 shows a front view showing the upper crossmember 2 equipped with the rods 6 and 7, the pins 12 and 13 emerging from the respective holes 10 and 11. In the figure, it can be seen that the tenons 17a and 17b The rods 6 and 7 are spaced from each other by a distance (e). FIG. 6 shows a sectional view of the crossmember 2, for example equipped with the rod 6. It can be seen that the crossmember is provided with a groove 20 forming a groove in which the notches 16a and 16b of the bead wire circulate. 6, the web 15a coming in continuity with the outer wall of the crossmember. Thus, each rod 6 or 7 is trapped in the groove 20 of the cross member, a clearance allowing the sliding of each rod relative to the crossbar.
In Figure 7, there is shown a detail of Figure 2 showing the interposition of the spring 14 between the two rods 6 and 7. The holding in place of the spring 14 can be realized in different ways. One can for example provide a coil spring whose ends are engaged in grooves made in each of the rods. It is also possible to provide the bead wire 6, for example, with longitudinal boring 19a as indicated previously in which a stud 22 is engaged by force. This stud is made to disappear in the bore 19b practiced vis-a-vis in the rod 7 during the operation of approaching the handles 8 and 9. Of course, the spring 14 may be of the helical type inside which the stud 22 is disposed. This spring can also be in the form of an elastic blade with two branches whose ends are each fixed to one of the rods 6 and 7. Thus, by bringing the handles 8 and 9 together, it controls the translation of the rods 6 and 7 causing simultaneous erasure of the studs 17a and 17b. FIG. 8 shows a side view of an embodiment of the handle 8 or 9. The head of the handle is provided with bores 25a and 25b corresponding to the bores 18 of the rods 6 and 7 in view of their fixation. These handles can be anti-bacterial.
In Figure 9, there is shown one of the uprights 26 of the bed whose lower end 26b rests on the ground. This upright is provided with two grooves, one upper 27, the other lower 28. The lower groove 28 receives the finger 5a of the barrier 1 or the finger 5b and the upper groove 27 the finger 5d or the finger 5c. We find the same provision at the level of the other amount of the bed. The upper groove 27 is extended by a loop 29 in which the finger 5d will come to rest in order to hold the barrier 1 in place. The upright 26 is provided at its upper end 26a with a blind hole 30 intended to receive, for example the tenon 17a to ensure the blocking of the barrier 1. It can be seen that the barrier 1 can be released only by the total withdrawal of the tenons 17a and 17b of their respective blind hole by the translation of the rods 6 and 7, which allows and the crossing of the loop 29 by the fingers 5. It goes without saying that the depth of the blind hole corresponds to the length of the pins 17a and 17b. In this way absolute safety is ensured which can only be broken by positive action on the handles 8 and 9. This greatly improves the safety of use of the bed. The rods can be made of any material, for example with wood or metal. To assemble the rods 6 and 7, proceed as follows. We first equip the rods 6 and 30 with the handles 8 and 9, and the rod 6 with the stud 22. It then has the spring 14 around the stud. The rods 6 and 7 are then inserted from both sides into the groove 20 of the upper cross-member to bring them into the position shown in FIG. 2 or 5. The pins 12 and 13 are fixed in the cross-member 2 through the respective oblong holes 10 and 11.
