A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet une planche à repasser comprenant un plateau supporté par au moins un pied en deux parties reliées l'une à l'autre par une articulation permettant le pivotement d'un segment inférieur du pied entre une position dépliée, dans laquelle le segment inférieur est disposé dans le prolongement d'un segment supérieur du pied, et une position repliée dans laquelle le segment inférieur est replié en direction du segment supérieur, caractérisée en ce que l'articulation comporte un dispositif de verrouillage du segment inférieur en position dépliée et au moins un bouton de déverrouillage permettant de désactiver le dispositif de verrouillage pour autoriser la rotation du segment inférieur vers la position repliée.
Selon une autre caractéristique de l'invention, l'articulation comporte au moins deux boutons de déverrouillage avantageusement disposés sur deux faces opposées de l'articulation.
Une telle caractéristique présente l'avantage d'offrir une plus grande ergonomie d'utilisation en offrant une plus grande visibilité aux boutons de déverrouillage.

Le second pied 4 est en un seul tenant et est avantageusement constitué par deux tubes 42 rectilignes, sensiblement parallèles, d'une longueur de l'ordre de 105 cm, les deux tubes étant reliés, à leur extrémité supérieure, à la tige 40 montée coulissante sur le bâti 1 et étant reliés, à leur extrémité inférieure, à une traverse 43 d'une longueur de l'ordre de 45 cm comportant, à chacune de ses extrémités, une roulette 44 orientée longitudinalement à la traverse 43.
Conformément aux figures 7 à 12, l'articulation 8 reliant le segment supérieur 31 au segment inférieur 32 du premier pied comporte un axe de rotation 80 reliant une première partie 81 de l'articulation venant s'emmancher dans le tube du segment supérieur 31 à une deuxième partie 82 de l'articulation venant s'emmancher dans le tube du segment inférieur 32, l'axe de rotation 80 étant disposé perpendiculairement au premier pied 3 et déporté à la périphérie du premier pied 3 de sorte que le segment inférieur 32 puisse être replié sur le segment supérieur 31 par une rotation de 180 .
Plus particulièrement selon l'invention, l'articulation 8 comporte un dispositif de verrouillage du segment inférieur 32 en position dépliée comprenant un premier bouton de déverrouillage 83 permettant de désactiver le dispositif de verrouillage.

La planche à repasser ainsi réalisée présente l'avantage d'offrir une grande 10 sécurité d'utilisation, la planche en position de travail pouvant être déplacée sans risque de basculement intempestif du segment inférieur vers la position repliée.
Cette planche à repasser présente également l'avantage d'être très ergonomique à utiliser, le pliage des pieds de la planche à repasser vers la position de rangement et le basculement du segment inférieur vers la position repliée pouvant s'effectuer dans n'importe quel ordre. En particulier, le basculement du segment inférieur vers la position repliée peut s'effectuer soit lorsque la planche à repasser est basculée sur son second pied et que les deux pieds sont encore disposés en position de travail mais peut aussi s'effectuer très aisément lorsque les deux pieds sont en position de rangement, en appuyant sur le premier ou le second bouton, avec un risque réduit de pincement pour les doigts.
De plus, le basculement du segment inférieur vers la position repliée, illustrée sur la figure 6, permet d'obtenir une planche à repasser extrêmement compacte pour laquelle les pieds de la planche à repasser restent dans l'encombrement de la partie principale du plateau et ne font pas saillie en dehors du plateau .
Une fois dans cette position de rangement, la planche à repasser peut être aisément déplacée en la faisant légèrement basculer de manière à ce qu'elle repose uniquement sur les roulettes du second pied.
La planche à repasser présente également l'avantage de posséder un plateau offrant une surface de repassage importante et d'être très stable une fois dépliée en position de travail, grâce à un empattement important entre les , 11 , premier et second pieds, du fait notamment de la longueur importante du premier pied, et à la présence des traverses de grande taille qui assurent une très bonne stabilité latérale à la planche à repasser.
Bien entendu, l'invention n'est nullement limitée au mode de réalisation décrit et illustré qui n'a été donné qu'à titre d'exemple. Des modifications restent possibles, notamment du point de vue de la constitution des divers éléments ou par substitution d'équivalents techniques, sans sortir pour autant du domaine de protection de l'invention.

authorizing the engagement of the hook 83A behind the locking stop 86. The ironing board thus produced has the advantage of offering a great 10 safety of use, the board in working position can be moved without risk of inadvertent tipping of the lower segment to the position folded.
This ironing board also has the advantage of being very ergonomic to use, folding the feet of the ironing board towards the storage position and tilting of the lower segment to the position folded that can be done in any order. The ironing board also has the advantage of having a tray offering an important ironing surface and being very stable once unfolded in working position, thanks to a large wheelbase between , 11 , first and second feet, in particular because of the long length of the first foot, and the presence of large sleepers which ensure very good lateral stability to the ironing board.
Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment describes and illustrated which has been given only as an example. Modifications remain possible, particularly from the point of view of the constitution of the various elements or by substituting technical equivalents, without leaving the domain of protection of the invention.
Thus, in an alternative embodiment of the invention not shown, the ironing board tray can be made in one part and to be fixed relative to the frame.
