La figure 1 présente une vue schématique en perspective d'un agencement 1 d'élément de rangement coulissant 2 dans le coffre longitudinal 3 placé sous le pavillon 4 d'un véhicule monté dans l'habitacle d'un véhicule en position d'utilisation par un passager placé à gauche. Le coffre longitudinal 3 orienté suivant l'axe 5 longitudinal du véhicule est représenté tronqué, la flèche 22 indique le sens de déplacement du véhicule. Ce coffre longitudinal 3 présente au moins une ouverture 6 traversante, de préférence de section rectangulaire sur ses parois latérales 7, 8 permettant d'y introduire un élément de rangement coulissant 2 qui est un tiroir.
