cornportant le premier volume qui est le volume moteur situé sous le capot et le deuxième volume qui est le volume bagages plus passagers situé entre le pare choc arrière et le pare brise avant. oans le cas d'automobiles familiales à quatre ou cinq places, il y a quatre portes latérales et un hayon arrière, le hayon s'ouvrant vers le haut et la lunette arrière étant toujours incorporée dans le hayon.Ces automobiles, dites à deux volumes ont trois avantages: 1) Disposer d'un espace normal pour bagages lorsque la tablette horizontale, située sous la lunette arrière, entre le haut des dossiers des sièges arrières et la partie inférieure de la lunette arrière, est en place.
