Description
The present invention relates to a suction apparatus, particularly for cleaning the road, in particular the collection of waste discarded on the road.
It relates more particularly to a suction apparatus comprising a carriage and, adapted to be carried by said carriage, suction means and a collection receptacle of the suction elements provided with a filling opening arranged in the upper part of the receptacle for a loading from above said receptacle.
Until now, the cleaning of the road operates either with a portable vacuum cleaner that the operator wears in the manner of a backpack, or with a self-propelled machine to onboard driver. The first solution offers a reduced autonomy and is limited, in terms of application, to the collection of small objects. The second solution of a self-propelled machine with an on-board driver requires the use of a vehicle transport vehicle of large dimensions to bring the self-propelled machine on site. An object of the present invention is therefore to provide a suction apparatus capable of picking up large elements without the need for a specific transport vehicle, particularly large, for its delivery to the site. Another object of the present invention is to provide a suction device of the aforementioned type whose autonomy is increased compared to traditional suction devices. To this end, the subject of the invention is a suction apparatus, in particular for cleaning the roadway, said apparatus comprising a trolley and, capable of being carried by said trolley, suction means and a collection receptacle. suction elements provided with a filling opening in the upper part of the receptacle for top loading said receptacle, characterized in that said carriage comprises a roller tray surmounted by a mast pivotally mounted on said plate between an erect position and a supine position, said mast being equipped with a drawbar, and in that the suction means comprise a cover for closing the filling opening from above said receptacle, this cover, provided with an inlet of air connectable to a suction pipe and an air outlet disposed at a level higher than that of the air inlet in the closed position of the housing cover, between said inlet and outlet air, in the superimposed state, filtering means, a motor and a turbine, said drive motor in rotation of the turbine being an electric motor. Thanks to the architecture of the suction device, the suction means, the receptacle and the trolley can be easily transported in a vehicle before being mounted on site in a very short time. Due to the design of the suction means, the motor can be easily cooled by the sucked air, which limits the heating problems and allows a longer service life. Preferably, the power supply means of the motor are formed by at least one battery removably mounted on the tray of said carriage. Preferably, this battery is equipped with a carrying handle. Again, this arrangement allows the truck to be lighter for easy loading into a vehicle. Preferably, the cover has the shape of a truncated cone. This frustoconical shape facilitates aspiration. Preferably, the large base of the truncated cone of the lid rests on said receptacle in the closed position of said lid.
Dans l'exemple représenté, la turbine 13 comprend une couronne d'ailettes 20 courbes à disposition rayonnante autour de l'axe de rotation de la turbine 13, et le couvercle 8 et le réceptacle 15 sont équipés de moyens 18 de couplage au mât 4.Preferably, the drawbar is coupled to the mast by a connection pivotally about an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis of the mast for a movement of the drawbar between an inactive position, in which it extends substantially parallel to said mast, and a active position, in which it forms with the longitudinal axis of the mast an angle less than 120 °, preferably adjustable according to the desired inclination of said drawbar. With this arrangement, the storage of the device is facilitated and its reduced size in the stowed position. Preferably, the drawbar is equipped, in the vicinity of its free end, with at least one lateral handle extending transversely to the longitudinal axis of the drawbar. Preferably, the lid and / or the receptacle are equipped with coupling means to the mast. Preferably, the rolling tray is a three-wheeled tray. Preferably, the three wheels of the plate comprise two fixed wheels and a directional wheel and the base of the mast is disposed between the pair of fixed wheels. Preferably, the turbine comprises a crown of curved fins disposed radially around the axis of rotation of the turbine. The invention will be better understood on reading the following description of exemplary embodiments, with reference to the appended drawings in which: FIG. 1 represents a sectional view of a suction apparatus according to the invention. - Figure 2 shows a perspective view, in elevation, of a suction apparatus according to the invention. - Figure 3 shows a partially exploded view of the elements of a suction apparatus according to the invention. - Figure 4 shows a perspective view of a suction apparatus according to the invention, in the unassembled state of the receptacle and its lid on the carriage. - Figure 5 shows a perspective view of the carriage of a suction apparatus according to the invention, in the supine position of the mast and inactive drawbar. - Figure 6 shows a perspective view of the lid in the exploded position of the elements constituting it. - Figure 7 shows a perspective view of the turbine alone. As mentioned above, the suction apparatus 1 of the invention is more particularly intended for the cleaning of the road and is able to allow an operator with such a device to be able to pick up bulky waste 15 the road without having to bend down. For this purpose, the suction apparatus 1 comprises a carriage 2 and, suction means 7 and a collection receptacle 15 adapted to be carried by said carriage 2. The carriage 2 comprises a plate 3 rolling, here shaped 20 rectangular general, equipped with three wheels 19, namely two fixed wheels that is to say non-directional, and a directional wheel. These wheels 19 may be driving or not, depending on whether the carriage is a self-propelled carriage or movable by traction or thrust exerted by the operator on said apparatus 1. The tray 3 of the carriage is surmounted by a mast 4 which is here in form 25 of a hollow metal tubular body, pivotally mounted on said plate, between an upright position corresponding to the use configuration of the suction apparatus and a lying position corresponding to the storage configuration of the apparatus. This mast 4, whose base is disposed between the pair of fixed wheels, is equipped at or near its upper end with a drawbar 5. This drawbar 5 is coupled to the mast 4 by a link 17 pivoting about an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis of the mast 4, for a displacement of the drawbar 5 between an inactive position in which it extends substantially parallel to said mast 4 and an active position in which it forms with the longitudinal axis of the mast 4 , an angle less than 120 °, generally close to 90 °. This angle is here adjustable according to the desired inclination of said drawbar 5. For this purpose, the mast 4 is, at the connection to the drawbar 5, equipped with a plurality of holes arranged in an arc around the pivot axis of the link 17 between mast and drawbar, and the drawbar is equipped with a bore selectively positionable with respect to one of the holes of the mast to form an alignment of holes in which a locking member can be introduced to immobilize the drawbar in the desired angular position by the operator, this position being a function in particular of the size of the operator. Of course, a reverse positioning of the series of holes and the piercing opposite may also be considered. The drawbar 5 is still equipped near its free end with two lateral handles 6 extending transversely to the longitudinal axis of the drawbar 5. These handles extend horizontally, on either side of the drawbar, to the raised state of the mast and in the active position of the drawbar, as illustrated for example in Figure 2. The operator can thus manipulate the carriage by acting on said handles 6. The collection receptacle 15 is in turn in form a bin-type container, made of metal, provided with a filling opening 16 formed in the upper part of the receptacle 15 for loading from above said receptacle 15. This receptacle 15 is placed on the tray. The suction means 7 comprise a cover 8 for closing the opening 16 filling from above said receptacle 15 for a substantially sealed connection. This lid, which comprises a bottom and a peripheral side wall, has the shape of a truncated cone whose large base rests on the receptacle 15 in the closed position of the lid. This cover is provided, in the vicinity of the large base of the truncated cone, on the peripheral side wall, an air inlet 9 connectable to a suction pipe 21. This suction pipe 21 is in the form of a flexible pipe or sheath whose free end forms the suction mouth of the apparatus. This cover also comprises an air outlet 10 disposed at a level higher than that of the air inlet 9, in this case at the small base of the truncated cone forming the bottom of the cover in the closed position of said cover. . This air outlet opens into the open air. This cover houses, from the air inlet towards the air outlet, between said inlet and outlet, in the superimposed state, the filtering means 11, a motor 12 and a turbine 13. Rotational drive of the turbine 13 is an electric motor whose power supply means are formed by a battery 14 removably mounted on the plate 3 of the carriage 2. This battery 14 is equipped with a carrying handle and is simply placed on said carriage tray. The filtering means 11 are in turn formed by a simple membrane-type filter, through which the air introduced into the lid by the air inlet passes before being removed from the lid by the air outlet. The filtering means therefore close a portion of the lid through the membrane which extends substantially parallel to the bottom of the lid. The air flow created by the turbine allows the suction of waste which either falls directly into the receptacle or collides with the filtering means before falling back into the receptacle. In the example shown, the turbine 13 comprises a crown of curved vanes 20 arranged radially around the axis of rotation of the turbine 13, and the cover 8 and the receptacle 15 are equipped with means 18 for coupling to the mast 4 .
These coupling means are formed by a slide connection between the cover and the mast, and by a hook-type mechanical catch connection between the receptacle and the mast. The operation of such a suction apparatus is as follows: when stored for transport or storage of the apparatus, the suction means and the receptacle have been removed from the carriage. The mast is in a supine position and the drawbar is inactive, as shown in Figure 5. The battery is also removed from the truck. The trolley, the battery, the receptacle, the suction means and the suction line can thus be easily stored in the trunk of a light utility vehicle. At the moment of use, the mast is brought to the upright position and the drawbar in the active position. The receptacle and the cover constituting the suction means are placed on the tray of the carriage, as well as the battery. The suction pipe 31 is connected to the air inlet of the lid. The device is then ready for operation.
