Abstract

The device has a centering finger (11) fixed on a sliding side door (10) that is engageable with a complementary recess (12), which is integrated in a case of a car. A retaining hook (15) is deformed during impact of the car to prevent opening of the side door. The centering finger and the retaining hook are integrated as a single part. The retaining hook is formed as a flange annularly surrounding a base of the centering finger and an end of a rigid leg (16), which projects from a plate (17) fixed on at end (10a) of the side door.

Description

DISPOSITIF POUR CENTRER ET RETENIR UNE PORTE LATERALE COULISSANTE D'UN VEHICULE AUTOMOBILE, EN CAS DE CHOC La présente invention concerne un dispositif pour centrer une porte latérale coulissante de véhicule automobile et retenir celle-ci en cas de choc. Un dispositif connu de ce type est représenté sur les figures 1 à 4, sur lesquelles : - la figure 1 est une vue en coupe horizontale partielle du pied milieu et de la porte latérale coulissante d'un véhicule automobile équipée du dispositif de centrage et de retenue ci-dessus, - la figure 2 est une vue en perspective d'une plaquette pourvue d'une ouverture dans laquelle est destinée à s'engager le crochet de retenue du dispositif, - la figure 3 est une vue en perspective du doigt de centrage du dispositif, - la figure 4 est une vue en perspective du crochet de retenue du dispositif. Comme montré par les figures 1 à 4, le dispositif de centrage et de retenue connu comprend un doigt de centrage 1 (voir figure 3) fixé sur la porte latérale coulissante 2 pouvant s'engager dans un évidement complémentaire 3 solidaire du pied milieu 4 de la caisse du véhicule et un crochet de retenue 5 pouvant s'engager dans une ouverture 6 de la porte 2 et se déformer en cas de choc du véhicule pour empêcher l'ouverture de la porte 2. Etant donné que les fonctions centrage de la porte et retenue de cette porte, en cas de choc du véhicule, sont obtenues au moyen de deux pièces distinctes (voir figures 3 et 4), le dispositif connu est relativement coûteux à fabriquer et à monter sur les véhicules. Le but de la présente invention est de remédier à ces inconvénients. Ce but est atteint, selon l'invention, grâce à un dispositif pour centrer une porte latérale coulissante de véhicule automobile et retenir celle-ci en cas de choc, ce dispositif comprenant un doigt de centrage fixé sur la porte latérale coulissante pouvant s'engager dans un évidement complémentaire solidaire de la caisse du véhicule et un crochet de retenue pouvant se déformer en cas de choc du véhicule et empêcher l'ouverture de la porte, caractérisé en ce que ledit dispositif est constitué par une pièce unique comportant ledit doigt de centrage et ledit crochet de retenue. This object is achieved, according to the invention, by means of a device for centering a sliding side door of a motor vehicle and retaining it in the event of an impact, this device comprising a centering pin fixed on the sliding lateral door being able to engage in a complementary recess integral with the vehicle body and a retaining hook which can deform in case of impact of the vehicle and prevent the opening of the door, characterized in that said device is constituted by a single piece comprising said centering finger and said retainer hook. Selon d'autres particularités avantageuses de l'invention : - lorsque la porte latérale coulissante est fermée, ledit doigt de centrage et une partie de ladite patte sont engagés dans un évidement du pied milieu du véhicule ; - ledit doigt et ladite patte sont engagés dans une ouverture réalisée dans une plaquette fixée sur le pied milieu, cette ouverture communiquant avec ledit évidement ; - ledit évidement est constitué par une cuvette solidaire de ladite plaquette ; - le fond de ladite cuvette porte un appendice creux faisant saillie dans une direction opposée à ladite plaquette, cet appendice creux pouvant recevoir ledit doigt de centrage ; - l'ouverture de ladite plaquette comporte deux encoches diamétralement opposées situées dans un plan sensiblement horizontal.
