Abstract
Description
DESCRIPTION The present invention relates to a hydro-wind turbine for recovering the energy of marine currents in hydraulic form or wind energy wind turbine, consisting of a conical turbine driving a current generator or a hydraulic pump lift, and operating thanks to rotating blades forming a cone. Some models already exist to recover the energy of the swell at sea, turbines (turbines) or propellers. Other models relate to hydroelectric turbines which describe a turbine composed of blades fixed on a rotating drum and which are parallel to each other. The present invention provides an improvement since it describes a turbine consisting of profiled blades inclined at an angle and directed towards a conically central axis. The use of this turbine will be wind or hydraulic. - In the water: it will be completely immersed, can be placed in the direction of the current, which does not alter this current, available again some 20 meters downstream, the multiplication of turbines can be endless. So the possible use in series of this turbine. - For the use of large ocean currents (with a phenomenal energy): we can integrate drainages and filling ponds, like Arcachon. The possibilities are so phenomenal that they alone can make all the plants superfluous, with installations, at very low cost. - Thanks to the wind: it can be placed in a zone of continuous winds, rather in height. It will be available again a few meters downstream, the multiplication of turbines can be endless. So the possible use in series of this turbine. It is possible to envisage the use of this turbine, in a vertical position, in a wind flow, for example on a sailboat to provide additional energy, possibly to replace the sails. It will also be possible to install it on a building, horizontally or vertically. At sea, the online layout will be desirable. The device must be completed, for safety, floating buoys visible high and low sea, and carrying bright lighting so as to avoid clashes with boats, or nets of sinners.
As well as the use of radar reflectors on the surface, and a sounder below the surface of the water for fish and especially submarines. Terminals will be placed on the shore for the recovery of the electric current and evacuated by buried cables. This construction is very limited from the mechanical point of view, requiring little intervention for maintenance. To use and install this turbine in the best conditions, in a river, a slight dredging may be provided for the establishment of the frame of the turbine, to receive several turbines side by side and possibly on several levels. This installation will be repeated, upstream or downstream at a short distance, the current recovering very quickly with little disturbance. The turbine or turbines, being of large size, will preferably be built at the edge of the river or ports, so that they can be loaded directly onto sea-going vessels or barges without having to use road transport, the dimensions being very small. important and not divisible, so impossibility to use the road for large units. According to particular embodiments, the turbine will be comparable to a cone with fixed or variable blades at a predetermined angle, in contact with the axis of rotation; the set of blades forms a cone from one to several meters in diameter, and a length of two to five to seventeen meters possibly longer. - The set of blades describes a circle so that in rotation they form a cone. This rotation drives the shaft to the center of rotation, and thanks to a fixed angle of inclination angle of the blades relative to the rays, it causes the movement of the turbine of the moment that one is in a flow, that this Either liquid or gaseous. The angle appears optimum between 40 ° and 85 ° (70 ° recommended) (Figure 8) to obtain the best performance and recover the greatest power of the flow. The experiment will modify this angle. - The blades will have a convex plane shape (airfoil type carrier profile) for aerodynamic reasons, and will be manufactured by extrusion, -3- molding or boiler. - The blades can be built in several ways, either by using metallurgy (boilermaking) with low-oxidizing materials, or by using plastics and possibly extrusion, all the interior voids will receive an injection of foam, to prevent the penetration of water. - Frets (internal or external) are installed on the blades more or less regular intervals to avoid buckling under the pressure of the flow: these frets are composed of a steel rod or a cable that connects the blades. blades so as to maintain the angle of attack, while disturbing only very little flow flow. Possibly spokes (or cable) stretched like bicycle spokes to achieve a perfectly circular orbit. This assembly will neutralize the deformation due to the thrust of the flow and will allow to have thinner blades.
The whole is positioned in a framework, so it can be transported, and be on the site assembled in groups, like containers on the boats, side by side and possibly on several levels. - The turbine will be anchored in place and also connected by cables immersed and anchored, forming a V so as to compensate for the force of the current, each turbine will operate a dynamo, the electric cable is placed on the bottom of the water. At sea, this set can be immersed to enjoy the sea currents. It will also be possible to maintain it at variable heights by having at its upper part rigid or flexible balasts. Several inking points will be needed.
The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: in section FIG. 1 represents the hydro-wind turbine in general view. - Figure '2' represents the turbine of the hydro-windmill seen from the side. 30 - Figure '3' represents the turbine of the hydro-wind turbine seen from the front. - Figure '4' represents the turbine of the hydro-windmill seen from the front 'AB'. Figure '5' shows a blade seen in profile. With reference to these drawings, FIG. 1: FIG. 1 represents the entire hydro-wind turbine: a turbine composed of profiled blades inclined and fixed at one of its ends (at the inlet of the flow ) on a conical deflector in rotation and at the other end on a centralizer cap rotating on the axis of rotation, the assembly being positioned in a frame to peiinettre the resumption of the bearings and support of the assembly including the electric generator . Figure 2: Figure 2 shows the turbine of the hydro-wind turbine seen from the side, consisting of blades (7) fixed on the conical deflector (2) and directed towards the axis of rotation (4) conically. At the inlet of the flow, the conical deflector (2) channels and directs this flow inside the turbine, acting as venturies. A rack (3) is fixed on the conical deflector (2) to stiffen and homogenize the forces exerted on the baffle.
The blades (7) are fixed at one end to the conical deflector (2) and at the other end to the centralizing cap (5), which is attached to a current generator (6). A hoop (8) is installed on the blade (7) at a more or less regular interval in order to avoid buckling of the blades (7) under the pressure of the flow. These frets (8) are composed of a steel rod which connects the blades (7) to each other so as to maintain the angle of attack, while disturbing only very little flow flow. All the components of this turbine being placed in a frame (1) protecting the turbine of the outer elements. In rotation, the rotating elements of the turbine are: the conical deflector (2), the rack (3), the blades (7) and the cap (5) centralizer. The blades (7) are pushed by the liquid or gaseous flow, which causes the turbine to move. Sufficient space between the blades (7) must be left for the flow to emerge optimally outside the turbine. Figure 3: Figure 3 shows the inlet zone of the flow constituted by the conical baffle (2) for directing the flow inside the turbine and on which are fixed the blades (7) of the turbine, and the racking (3) rigidifying the conical deflector (2). The turbine is rotated along a central axis (4); all the components of this turbine being placed in the frame (1).
Figure 4: Figure 4 shows, in section 'AB', the blades (7) of the turbine profile views, fixed on the contour of the conical deflector, itself rotated along the axis of rotation. The blades (7) are directed towards the axis of rotation.
The blades (7) are inclined at an angle with respect to the rays of the conical deflector. The frets (8) connect the blades (7) together to increase the resistance of the blades (7) under the pressure of the flow.
The blades (7) are pushed by the liquid or gaseous flow, which causes the movement of the turbine. The oc angle seems optimal between 40 ° and 85 ° (70 ° recommended) to obtain a very good performance and recover a great power of the flow of water or air. The experiment will modify this angle. The number of blades can vary from three to thirty blades or more depending on the size of the turbine and the speed of the flow.
25 Figure 5 : La figure 5 montre une pale (7) vue de profil profilée de forme plan convexe (profil porteur du type d'une aile d'avion).Figure 5: Figure 5 shows a blade (7) profile profile profiled convex plane (carrier profile of the type of an aircraft wing).
As an indication: - The blades may be aluminum to reduce the weight of the rotating elements of the turbine. - The proposed turbine will have a large length of blades: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 35 meters see more. - The inlet diameter of the flow in the conical deflector can vary from 3 meters to 15 meters or more. - The length of the blades will depend on the inlet diameter of the flow to maintain the taper of the turbine. The angle of inclination of the blades with respect to the spokes seems to give a very good yield and makes it possible to recover a great power of the flux for an angle of 70 °. The experiment will modify this angle.
