La présente invention concerne un sous-vêtement et un procédé de réalisation d'un sous-vêtement. De façon connue, les sous-vêtements comprennent typiquement un corps textile formant la partie principale du sous-vêtement, et comportant au moins un bord périphérique. Par exemple, dans le cas d'une culotte, le corps comporte trois bords périphériques (l'un au niveau de la taille et les deux autres autour des cuisses de l'utilisateur). Afin d'assurer une bonne tenue du sous-vêtement sur le corps de l'utilisateur, il est généralement prévu de rapporter un ruban élastique au niveau de chacun des bords périphériques. Un tel ruban, pour être efficace, présente une épaisseur relativement importante (de l'ordre de 0,7 à 1 mm). De plus, ce ruban est cousu sur le corps, au voisinage du bord périphérique. En conséquence, le sous-vêtement présente une surépaisseur au niveau de ses bords périphériques, due à la superposition du corps, du ruban et de la couture. Or, ceci n'est pas souhaitable car il existe une demande croissante pour des sous-vêtements invisibles ou du moins se voyant peu, y compris lorsque l'utilisateur porte des vêtements moulants. La présente invention vise à remédier aux inconvénients 20 mentionnés ci-dessus, en fournissant un sous-vêtement discret, si ce n'est invisible, lorsqu'il est porté, même sous des vêtements moulants. A cet effet, l'invention concerne un sous-vêtement comprenant un corps formant la partie principale du sous-vêtement, le corps étant réalisé en un premier textile et comportant au moins un bord périphérique, le sous- 25 vêtement comprenant en outre au moins une bande comportant deux bords longitudinaux, ladite bande étant assemblée au corps par une couture, dans une position non superposée où l'un des bords longitudinaux de la bande est adjacent au bord périphérique du corps. De ce fait, on limite encore les surépaisseurs puisqu'on n'a pas d'ourlet ou de surfilage au niveau du bord longitudinal de la bande non assemblé sur le corps.
