Abstract

The carrying case (1) has a foldable hexagonal tubular envelope (E) extending along a longitudinal axis, and locking units containing a locking tab (37) and a locking slot (38) for locking a closing panel (15) on an upper end of the foldable tubular envelope. Rectangular separating shutters (32, 33) separate internal space at the envelope and protect products to be packaged, and cut into a set of rectangular lateral panels (5-7) of the envelope in a manner to push back towards an interior of the envelope for delimiting compartments for receiving the products to be packaged. Description

The present invention relates to the technical field of packaging and more particularly relates to packaging devices which are intended to pack in the same package several identical products.

More specifically, the invention relates to packaging devices which are made from at least one pre-cut raw material blank and then folded to form the actual packaging.

As a preferred application, the invention relates to packaging devices made from a cardboard blank, preferably compact, without this accuracy excluding corrugated cardboard or similar products, such as plastic sheets, laminated or not.

In the technical field above, it is widely known in particular to produce packaging packages of unit products such as bottles or flasks from a suitable raw material blank, cut flat, then mounted to form a case in which can be packaged a product.

As a rule, these are compact cardboard blanks which are designed to define, after mounting, a tubular casing constituting a casing body and having bottom closure systems and top closure systems. The design of these blanks can be retained so that the case body has a shape, most generally parallelepiped, without it being necessary to exclude bodies of cases of different shapes, such as of pentagonal cross section or hexagonal, even octagonal.

Conditioning cases of the above type can be considered as satisfactory for their primary function of conditioning.

However, it is increasingly sought to ensure the packaging in the same package of several unit products, in the most compact way possible. To do this it should be ensured by the packaging effective protection of products packaged against knocks and shocks to ensure their integrity. This is particularly important when the packaged products are bottles. In this case too, the package should have sufficient strength to support the weight of the conditioned bottles.

It has therefore emerged the need for a new type of multi-packaging case for products such as bottles and bottles which, while allowing effective maintenance of the packaged products, is resistant and compact and provides adequate protection of the products against shocks.

In order to achieve this objective, the invention relates to a packaging and protection case for at least two products, in particular bottles, and obtained from at least one pre-cut and folded blank to include:

The case of the invention thus has the advantage of allowing multiple packaging of products such as bottles or bottles for example in a single package while ensuring a good maintenance and good protection of said products against shocks, as well on the packaging between the products between them through compartmentalizing shutters that prevent the products from clashing inside the case, but also perform a proper wedging of said products within the case avoiding their relative displacement.

According to a preferred feature of the invention, said compartmentalizing flaps are integral with at least one side panel of the envelope and articulated thereon along a vertical fold line parallel to the longitudinal axis of the envelope. envelope.

The packaging case 1, as shown in a semi-closed condition in FIG. 2, is obtained from a blank F blanket flat, as shown in FIG. 1. Such a blank can be made from compact cardboard, corrugated cardboard or even sheets of suitable plastic, the nature of the constituent material of the blank F not being characteristic of the invention.

The blank F comprises six articulated side panels 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 which are intended to define a tubular envelope E extending along a longitudinal axis Z and of hexagonal shape in a cross section to this axis. This tubular envelope E is also foldable on itself and symmetrical on both sides of a folding plane P containing said Z axis, as shown in FIG. 6.

Referring to Figure 2, the tubular casing E is open at its upper end El and a closure panel 15 hinged to an upper edge of one of the side panels by a fold line 16 allows the closure / opening to prevent / allow, conventionally access to the interior of the envelope, which is intended to constitute a case body, that is to say, within the meaning of the concept of packaging, a container.

To allow the interlocking of the closure panel it is advisable, in a conventional way to provide and train the flaps 17 and closure flaps 18, 19 of the closure panel 15 and the case so that they are offset one by two relative to one another when closing the panel on the upper end of the envelope .

In addition, to allow locking in the closed position of the closure panel on the upper end El of the tubular casing, complementary locking means, comprising for example in the example shown in Figure 1 a tongue 37 on a panel lateral 6 and a slot 38 for inserting this tongue into the junction zone of a closure flap 17 on the closure panel. However, such locking means are not limiting and others may be envisaged.

The tubular casing E is also closed at its lower end E2 by a bottom consisting of a plurality of bottom elements 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29 integral and articulated individually on the lower end of each side panels 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 by a fold line.

The bottom elements are constituted and assembled to each other by laminating to form the bottom of the case 1 in a manner adapted so that said bottom is also, like the tubular envelope E, foldable in the plane P as will be explained thereafter.

The tubular casing E, its bottom and its closure panel thus form a hexagonal cross-section packaging case defining an internal volume adapted to receive, in the example shown, three bottles arranged vertically side by side in the case as shown in Figure 9.

In a manner characteristic of the case of the invention, it comprises, formed within the side panels of the tubular casing E three compartmentalizing flaps 31, 32, 33 cut in said side panels and foldable towards the inside of the casing. the case around a vertical fold line 34, 35, 36 parallel to the axis Z of the case to delimit inside it three individual compartments for packaging the bottles as shown in FIG.

As is apparent from FIG. 1, the side panels 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 extend one after the other by being delimited and articulated each with respect to the next via a line 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. These fold lines are parallel to each other. The first side panel 2 carries opposite the second side panel 3 a fastening strip 13 which is separated from the side panel 2 by a fold line 14 parallel to the fold lines 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and which is designed to be laminated on the inner face of the last side panel 7 as will appear later.

In order to ensure a closure of the upper end E1 of the tubular casing E, the blank F comprises, in a conventional manner and as a means for closing the upper end E1, a closure panel 15 having in plan a shape corresponding to the section of the tubular casing E, in this case a hexagonal shape. The closure panel 15 extends in the extension of the second side panel 3 from which it is separated by a fold line 16 perpendicular to the fold lines 8 and 9. The closure panel 15 is provided with closure flaps 17 integral with one side of two of the closure panel 15. The closing means of the high end El also comprise two high closure flaps 18 and 19 which extend in the extension of the fourth and sixth side panels 5, 7 which they are secured by fold lines respectively 20, 21 perpendicular to the fold lines 10, 11 and 12 and situated substantially in line with the folding line 16.

Each side panel 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 is further secured on its lower edge with a bottom member 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 shaped to cooperate with the other bottom elements to achieve the foldable bottom of the packaging case 1 of the invention. Thus the blank F has under the first side panel 2 a first bottom member 22, having the general shape of a butterfly formed of two trapezoids 221, 222 linked at their small identical base by a fold line 28 median. This first bottom element 22 forms a flexible guide tongue of the bottom of the case from a developed position (Figure 2) to a folded position (Figure 6) thereof and vice versa. The first bottom member 22 cooperates with a second element 23 of hexagonal shape substantially identical to that of the cross section of the case and secured to the lower edge of the fourth side panel 5 by a fold line. This second element constitutes a bottom panel 23 which is intended to support the products packaged in the case and is capable of being guided, between the developed and folded positions of the case, by the first element 22.

In addition to these first two elements, the bottom of the case is also composed of four reinforcing tabs 24, 25, 26, 27 integral and articulated by a fold line on the lower edge of the remaining side panels 3, 4, 6 and 7. These reinforcing tabs, formed in the example shown in the figures by triangular flaps 24, 25, 26, 27, are intended to cooperate in pairs during the shaping of the blank F. To do this, the tabs 24, 26 comprise a tongue 29 of triangular lamination, articulated on the smallest edge of said lugs 24, 26 around a fold line 30. This lamination tab 29 allows to associate two by two consecutive reinforcing tabs when formatting flank F.

According to an essential characteristic of the invention, the packaging case 1 comprises compartmentalizing shutters 31, 32, 33 of the internal space to the tubular casing E and protection of the products to be packaged. These compartmentalizing shutters 31, 32, 33 are cut even within the side panels 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 of the tubular casing, and therefore of the blank F to produce it, so as to be pushed back towards inside the envelope to delimit compartments for receiving products, including bottles, to be packaged.

At the same time as they allow a compartmentalization of the internal volume of the case, the compartmentalizing shutters 31, 32, 33 also form protection against shocks between products packaged inside the case, especially during the phases. transport.

Finally, when they are folded inside the case, these compartmentalizing shutters 31, 32, 33 also provide, within the side panels, windows for viewing the products within the tubular envelope, which contributes to a better aesthetic rendering of the assembly consisting of the case and packaged products.

As is apparent from FIG. 1 showing the blank F in plan, the three compartmentalizing shutters are integral and articulated respectively on the side panels 2, 4, 6 along vertical folding lines 34, 35, 36 parallel to the lines of FIG. folding panels between them. Figure 8 in particular shows the case of the invention in the developed position and seen from above, with the closure panel 15 open. In this developed position, it is easily seen that the tubular body of the case has a substantially hexagonal shape and that the internal compartmentalizing flaps 31, 32, 33 extend inside the tubular body of the case, thus allowing to make separations in the internal volume of the case. These compartmentalizing shutters 31, 32, 33 are intended, in the context of the invention, to provide protective separations between objects to be packaged in the case 1, such as for example bottles B as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10. The compartmentalizing flaps thus allow a separation of the bottles B between them so that the latter do not collide. Furthermore, the flaps 32, 32, 33 once returned to the inside of the tubular body of the case between the bottles B, they thus reveal a portion of said bottles through the viewing windows they emit in the side panels of the case, thus allowing a better visibility and presentation of bottles B.
