Abstract

L'invention concerne un corps de chauffe (1) pour radiateur électrique, du type comportant une résistance électrique chauffante (3) associée à un diffuseur (2) métallique, la résistance chauffante comprenant une âme formée d'au moins un filament métallique (5) à enroulement hélicoïdal noyé dans un garnissage en matériau conducteur thermique et isolant électrique, tel que la magnésie, caractérisé en ce que l'enroulement hélicoïdal du filament (5) métallique présente au moins deux zones (Zi ; Ze1, Ze2) de spires différenciées, les dites spires se différenciant d'une zone à une autre par leur agencement et/ou leur forme et/ou la nature de leur matériau constitutif.Le procédé de réalisation d'un tel enroulement peut consister à étirer ou resserrer sélectivement au moins une partie des spires.
