Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un matériau céramique, transparent, à base d'un oxyde intermétallique, qui comprend :(A) la synthèse de particules (p) à base dudit oxyde intermétallique, par calcination oxydante de particules (p0) contenant un mélange homogène de sels organiques des différents cations métalliques de l'oxyde intermétallique ;(B) la réalisation d'un matériau moulé (M) à partir des particules (p) ainsi obtenues, en utilisant la technique du pressage filtrant ; et(C) le traitement thermique (frittage) du matériau moulé (M).L'invention concerne également les matériaux à base d'oxydes transparents obtenus selon ce procédé, en particulier les matériaux céramiques transparents à base de Y3Al5O12 (YAG) dopé par des lanthanides tels que le néodyme, et leurs utilisations, en particulier à titre de matériau pour amplification laser.
