Abstract

The cover portion is extracted from a plywood plate that is manufactured according to a schema corresponding to subdivision of the plates initial sides. The plate is cut along one of the edges of each groove and at an angle of 30 degrees for obtaining the cover portion. The grooves are identical squares arranged along two perpendicular axes.

Description

Principe d'obtention d'un élément de couverture ou de bardagePrinciple of obtaining a covering or cladding element

autobloquant, à partir d'une plaque de matière première.  self-locking, from a plate of raw material.

The present invention relates to a self-locking covering or cladding element 5, allowing the creation in particular of a mechanically homogeneous covering or cladding surface, obtained by the adequate assembly of this element.

The roofing or cladding of a building traditionally uses elements such as mechanical roof tiles, grooved plates of different materials, wooden profiles, see more traditional elements, slate, shingles or split tavaillons. These elements, however effective they may be, are either of a complicated implementation or have relatively low esthetic and durability characteristics. In most cases, they also require a specific supporting structure, in addition to the frame itself. The method according to the invention offers an alternative to current elements and to their implementation which is often too complex. The method according to the invention allows an independent element to be obtained from a plate of raw material; including plywood. It consists of a creasing of this plate of raw material, along two axes. These branches have a depth corresponding to a fraction of the total thickness of the plate. These grooves have edges having an undercut. The cutting of the plate is then done according to the machined grooves, at an angle corresponding to that of the undercut of the edges of the grooving. The elements thus obtained correspond on one or more of their edges. A homogeneous covering or cladding surface can thus be obtained by fitting these independent elements into each other, the part spared from the grooves 5 then constituting an overlap of the element or elements on that or those situated below. The stability and good performance of each of the elements are made possible vertically and horizontally by pressing on two of the lower elements. This staggered mounting is a second aspect of the invention. The assembly thus formed constitutes an effective protection or each element is partially overlapped by those situated above it, at the same time as the latter maintain it on its upper part, by the combined action of the undercut of the grooves, and the corresponding cutout on its upper part.

Other advantages of the device according to the invention will appear in the description of a particularly advantageous embodiment, according to which, in particular: - The plate of raw material is a plywood plywood.

-; ; - The hollow reaming has a flat bottom and constitutes a dovetail.

- The cutting of the independent elements is done according to the perpendicular grooves 20, and at an angle of 30 According to this same particularly advantageous embodiment, the attached figures illustrate the implementation of the device according to the invention: - Figure 1 is a perspective view of the plywood plate after creasing.

- Figure 2 is a sectional view of the grooved plate.

- Figure 3 is a perspective view of an element.

- Figure 4 is a perspective view of several elements according to a particular mode of implementation.

With reference to these drawings, the native plywood plate (1) is machined according to a diagram corresponding to the best subdivision of its starting dimensions (2). The machining consists of a groove with a flat bottom, of sufficient width, and the edges of which have a tilting angle of 300 (3). This creasing is carried out along two perpendicular axes, and draw identical squares on the plate (1). The cutting of the plate (1) is done along one of the edges of each creasing, and at an angle of 30 (4). An element (5) is thus obtained, constituting the assembly (6), after adequate fitting. On the implementation described by FIG. 4, the lower row (7) of the assembly (6) is fixed to the frame, the following rows coming to ensure the covering of each other It should be noted that in the perspective industrialization and according to the production methods implemented, the native plate (1) can be cut as in the previously described case 10, after machining that concerns it entirely, or be cut first to then undergo, partly by part, adequate machining.
