Abstract

The device has an electronic board (37) to manage control of an actuator (3) of a terminal (2). A battery (38) feeds electricity to the actuator and photovoltaic cells charge the battery. The cells are protected by a transparent wall constituting a face or a part of a face of a technical chamber. A receiver (39) obtains information of a transmitter to inform the board and permit withdrawal of the terminal.

Description

The present invention relates to an autonomous device making it possible to

  reserve access to certain routes or protected areas, for example delivery areas, parking spaces for the disabled, places reserved for markets, pedestrian streets, private or other car parks. It relates more particularly to a device of this kind in the form of a retractable bollard in the ground, the motorization of which

runs on solar energy.

  The many different structures known so far, either do not function properly, or are of complex design and have in

  consequently a high cost price.

  The present invention provides a new autonomous reservation device

  access, with a simple structure, easy to install, maintain and operate.

  The device according to the invention comprises, on the one hand, a box for receiving a retractable terminal in the ground controlled by an electric motor to ensure either its extraction from said box, or its withdrawal inside said box and, on the other hand, a technical box, independent of the terminal's reception box, which technical box includes: - an electronic circuit board for managing the control of the electric motorization of the terminal, - a battery allowing the electric supply of said plate and of said motorization, - one or more photovoltaic cells ensuring the charging of said battery, which cell or cells are protected by a transparent wall constituting a face or part of the face of said technical box, and - a receiver system capable of receive information from an associated transmitter system, to inform said management board and allow extraction or withdrawal

  the terminal, as the case may be, as required.

  According to a first embodiment of the invention, the terminal reception box and the technical box are juxtaposed, that is to say placed one next to

  the other, in particular to facilitate civil engineering operations.

  The technical box is advantageously embedded in the ground, its cover placed at or substantially at the level of the ground surface, consisting of the protective wall of the photovoltaic cells, or comprising said protective wall. According to a preferred embodiment, the technical box comprises a lost trunk whose upper part is closed by a cover element provided with the transparent wall for protecting the photovoltaic cells; this lost safe incorporates a waterproof case on top of which the photovoltaic cells are provided, and inside which are positioned, in particular, the system

  receiver, management board and battery.

  The lost compartment of the technical box is advantageously provided at its upper part with an angle-shaped spacer, which angle ensures reception

  and fixing the cover element provided with the transparent wall.

  According to a second possible embodiment, the technical box is offset relative to the reception box of the retractable terminal, and this technical box is

  present in the form of a projecting structure fixed to the ground, like "totem".

  According to a particularly advantageous embodiment, the terminal receiving box comprises a lost trunk, the upper part of which is provided with a cover element comprising an opening for the passage of the retractable terminal, which terminal is fixed on a mobile carriage guided vertically by a fixed frame. The vertical movement of this mobile carriage is obtained by means of a pinion system driven by the electric motorization mounted on said carriage, which motorized pinion system cooperates with a fixed rack mounted on a

  vertical shaft placed in the center or substantially in the center of the lost trunk.

  Preferably, the upper end of the central shaft is free and its end

  lower is simply placed in a receiving sleeve.

  According to another particular feature, the cover element of the terminal box

  has a stop which allows the mobile carriage to be locked in the high position.

  According to yet another particularity, the fixed chassis for guiding the mobile carriage consists of four vertical angles joined by an external cheek in the upper part, and by an internal cheek in the lower part; this lower cheek has in its center a sleeve which allows the reception of the lower end

  of the vertical shaft which carries the above-mentioned fixed rack.

  Still according to a preferred embodiment, the lost trunk of the terminal box is provided at its upper part with an angle-shaped spacer, which angle ensures the reception and the fixing of the upper end of the fixed frame, as well as the receiving the cover element, fixed on said upper end of the chassis. According to another advantageous arrangement, the device according to the invention comprises top and bottom limit systems, adapted to inform the

  board for managing the high and low positions of the retractable bollard.

  According to yet another particularity, a security system makes it possible to automatically reverse the rising movement of the bollard in the event of the presence of an obstacle, before said bollard reaches its high point, and making it possible to lower the bollard automatically , after total extraction, if pressure is present

determined on said terminal.

  However, the invention will be further illustrated, without being in any way limited, by the

  following description of different particular embodiments, given only

  by way of examples and represented in the appended drawings in which: FIG. 1 is a general schematic view which shows a first possible embodiment of an access reservation device according to the invention, this device being illustrated here externally, with the terminal in the extracted position; - Figure 2 is a schematic sectional view of the device illustrated in Figure 1 - Figure 3 is a perspective view of the fixed frame which guides the mobile carriage in the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 and 2; - Figure 4 is an enlarged detail view which shows the fixing of the cover element and the fixed frame on the lost box for receiving the terminal; - Figure 5 is a general schematic view which shows a second mode of

  possible realization of an access reservation device according to the invention.

  As illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the access reservation device comprises a first box 1 intended for receiving a retractable bollard 2 controlled by an electric motor 3, and a second box 4, called "technical box ", containing the autonomous means of control and

  for supplying said electric motorization 3.

  The two independent boxes 1 and 4 are embedded in the ground; in the illustrated embodiment, they are juxtaposed one next to the other so as to

  facilitate civil engineering operations.

  The box 1 for receiving the terminal 2 comprises a lost box 6 of generally parallelepiped shape, for example made of sheet steel. This lost trunk 6 incorporates a fixed chassis 7 intended to vertically guide a mobile carriage 8 on which

terminal 2 is fixed.

  The electric motorization 3, illustrated in dotted lines, is mounted on the movable carriage 8 and it drives a system of reduction gears leading to the drive pinion 9 which meshes with a rack 10 mounted on a vertical shaft 11 to ensure the cycles

  up and down from terminal 2.

  The fixed frame 7 is detailed in FIG. 3. It consists of four vertical angles 12, with an L-shaped section, joined at the top by a cheek 13 in the form of a frame extending horizontally and on the outside of said angles 12. In the lower part, the four angles 12 are joined by a cheek 14 in the form of a horizontal plate positioned internally. In the center of the plate 14 we notice the presence of a sleeve 15 which allows the reception of the lower end of the tree

vertical 11.

  The mobile carriage 8, Figure 2, consists of two parallel plates 18 and 19 assembled by angle angles 20 and by a hollow shaft 21 in the central part. A suitable opening is provided in this hollow shaft 21 to allow the

  motorized pinion 9 to mesh the rack 10.

  The angles 20 of the mobile carriage 8 are guided by the angles 12 of the fixed frame 7; the guidance of the mobile carriage 8 is completed by an open bearing (not shown) associated internally with the hollow shaft 21 and sliding on the vertical shaft 11. This vertical shaft 11 is advantageously made of steel and the rack

  is preferably made of "Nylon" (registered trademark).

  The lower plate 18 of the mobile carriage 8 allows the reception of the motorization 3 associated with its gear system; its upper plate 19 has a plurality of holes allowing the fixing of the terminal 2 via

screw / nut systems.

  Terminal 2 can have a generally cylindrical shape and can be made

steel or cast iron.

  In the upper part, the lost trunk 6 has a peripheral internal return 22 on which is fixed, by screw or by welding, a spacer 23 in the form of an L-section angle. As detailed in FIG. 4, this spacer 23 allows the receiving and fixing the upper cheek 13 of the fixed frame 7. The fixing

  corresponding can be achieved by means of screws shown diagrammatically at 24 in FIG. 4.

  On the other hand, this spacer 23 also allows the reception of a cover element 25 fixed by security screws 26 on the cheek 13 of the fixed frame 7. This cover element 25 is positioned at ground level, or substantially at ground level; it has a central orifice 27 whose shape best corresponds to the cross-section

  The technical box 4, juxtaposed with the terminal box 1, comprises a lost box 34 of generally parallelepiped shape, for example made of sheet steel. The bottom of this lost trunk 34 has an orifice 35 allowing its connection to

  This technical box 4 contains the energy part and the part

"command" of the device.

  To this end, it incorporates a waterproof case 36 in which there is an electronic management board 37, a battery 38 and a receiver system 39, possibly associated

  to other functional structures.

  The battery 38 supplies electricity to the motorization 3 of the terminal 2 via the management board 37; this plate 37 is also connected to the top and bottom limit switches 30, 31, as well as to the receiver system 39. The various corresponding connections are made by means of cables not shown. The battery 38 is supplied by a panel of photovoltaic cells 40 fixed to the upper part of the waterproof housing 36. This conventional cell panel 40 is placed opposite a cover element 42 which closes the upper part of the lost boot 34 This cover element 42 consists of a transparent wall 43, for example made of polycarbonate, mounted on a steel frame 44 arranged for this purpose.

  The cover element 42 is located at ground level or substantially at ground level

  The electronic control board 37 extracts or lowers the terminal 2 according to the information supplied by a transmitter system 47 associated with the receiver system 39.   The electronic circuit board 37 manages the direction of rotation of the electric motorization

  3 as a function of the information received from the top and bottom limit switches 30, 31.

  Preferably, the device incorporates a security system controlled by the management plate 37, allowing the bollard either fully extracted, or during elevation, to perform an automatic lowering movement, if it is subjected to an obstacle

  or to a determined force in pressure.

  For this, the plate 37 can be informed by the top limit switch system 30

  and / or by a force variation detection on the motorization 3.

  Following an obstacle or effort detection, once the terminal 2 in the low position, the plate 37 can carry out one or more tests, in the form of a succession of cycles of ascent and descent, before automatically replacing said terminal in high position. Note that the vertical shaft 11 is simply placed in its retaining sleeve 15, which gives the terminal 2 and its carrier carriage 8 a functional play of a few millimeters (3 to 5 mm for example) to absorb effectively and without undergoing significant degradations, the current shocks subjected to this

kind of material.

  A fully autonomous retractable access reservation terminal is obtained,

  simple structure and very easy to install.

  FIG. 5 illustrates a possible alternative embodiment of a device for

  reservation of access in accordance with the invention.

  In the corresponding embodiment, the terminal box 1 ′ is identical or similar to the terminal box 1 which has just been described in connection with FIGS. 1 to 4; on the other hand, the technical box 4 'is presented here in the form of a structure erected as a totem. In this case, the box 4 'is fixed to the ground at some distance from the terminal box 1', in a "neutral", non-annoying area. The totem 4 'contains the management and supply means described above, in the form of a solar panel 40', electronic circuit board 37 ', battery 38' and receiver system 39 ', possibly associated with other functional structures. The photovoltaic cell panel 40 'is placed in the upper part of the totem 4', protected by a transparent wall 43 '

  fitted on top of said totem pole 4 '.

  The connection between the technical box 4 'and the terminal box 1' is made by a

  cabling system integrated in a connection trench.

  The technical box 4 ′ may also include a control desk, possibly associated with a card reading system, making it possible to complete

  the transmitter / receiver control means.

Claims (13)

- CLAIMS   1.- Autonomous device for reserving access to certain lanes or protected areas, characterized in that it comprises, on the one hand, a box (1, 1 ') for receiving a terminal (2) retractable in the ground, controlled by an electric motor (3) to ensure either its extraction from said box (1, 1 '), or its withdrawal inside said box (1, 1') and, on the other hand, a box technical (4, 4 '), independent of the box (1, 1') for receiving the terminal (2), which technical box (4, 4 ') includes: - an electronic board (37, 37') allowing the management control of the electric motorization (3) of the terminal (2), - a battery (38, 38 ') allowing the electrical supply of said plate (37, 37') and of said motorization (3), one or several photovoltaic cells (40, 40 ') ensuring the charge of said battery (38, 38'), which cell or cells (40, 40 ') are protected by a transparent wall (43, 43') constituting a face or part of the face of said technical box (4, 4 '), and - a receiver system (39, 39') capable of receiving information from an associated transmitter system (47), for informing said management board (37 , 37 ') and allow   extraction or removal of the terminal (2), as appropriate.   2.- Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the box (1) of   reception of the terminal and the technical box (4) are juxtaposed.   3.- Device according to any one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in   that the technical box (4) is embedded in the ground, its cover element (42) placed at or substantially at the level of the ground surface, consisting of the transparent wall (43) for protecting the photovoltaic cells (40 ), or including said protective wall (43).   4.- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that   that the technical box (4) comprises a lost chest (34), the upper part of which is closed by a cover element (42) provided with the transparent wall (43) for protecting photovoltaic cells (40), which chest (34) incorporates a waterproof housing (36) on top of which are provided said photovoltaic cells (40), and inside which are positioned, in particular, the receiver system (39), the   management board (37) and the battery (38).   5.- Device according to claim 4, characterized in that the lost trunk (34) is provided at its upper part with a spacer (46) in the form of an angle iron, which angle iron (46) ensures the reception and fixing of the 'cover element (42) provided with the transparent wall (43).   6.- Device according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a technical box (4 ') offset relative to the box (1') for receiving the retractable terminal (2), which technical box (4 ') present as a structure protruding fixed to the ground.   7.- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that   that the box (1, 1 ') for receiving the terminal (2) comprises a lost chest (6), the upper part of which is provided with a cover element (25) comprising an opening (27) for the passage of the retractable bollard (2), which bollard (2) is fixed on a mobile carriage (8) guided vertically by a fixed frame (7), the vertical movement of said carriage (8) being obtained by means of a pinion system (9) driven by the electric motor (3) mounted on said carriage (8), which motorized pinion system (9) cooperates with a fixed rack (10) mounted on a vertical shaft (11)   placed in the center or substantially in the center of said lost trunk (6).   8.- Device according to claim 7, characterized in that the upper end of the central shaft (11) is free, its lower end being simply   placed in a receiving sleeve (15).   9.- Device according to any one of claims 7 or 8, characterized in   that it comprises a cover element (25) provided with a stop (28) for blocking the   mobile carriage (8) in the high position.   10.- Device according to any one of claims 7 to 9, characterized in   that the fixed frame (7) for guiding the mobile carriage (8) consists of four vertical angles (12) secured by an outer cheek (13) in the upper part, and by an inner cheek (14) in the lower part, which lower cheek (14) has in its center a sleeve (15) for receiving the lower end of the vertical shaft   (11) which carries the rack (10).   11.- Device according to any one of claims 7 to 10, characterized in   that the lost trunk (6) of the terminal box (1) is provided at its upper part with a spacer (23) in the form of an angle, which angle (23) ensures the reception and the fixing of the upper end ( 13) of the fixed frame (7), as well as the reception of   the cover element (25) fixed on said upper end (13) of the chassis (7).   12.- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in   what it includes top (30) and bottom (31) end-of-travel systems adapted to inform the management plate (37) when the retractable bollard (2) is in position   high, and when it is in the low position.   13.- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 12, characterized in   what it includes a safety system allowing to automatically reverse the upward movement of the bollard (2) in the event of the presence of an obstacle before said bollard (2) reaches its high point, and making it possible to automatically lower said terminal (2), after total extraction, in the presence of a determined pressure on said terminal (2).
