 The object of the invention is to remedy these drawbacks in a simple, safe, efficient and rational manner.

 The problem which the invention proposes to solve is to produce a fabric blind which can totally make the glass surface in front of which it is installed opaque or, conversely, release it completely to obtain total transparency, with the possibility, which constitutes the characteristic essential of the invention, to obtain the intermediate position which makes it possible to regulate the brightness by alternating opaque zones and transparent zones, and this in a perfectly aesthetic manner.

 According to the invention, the blind is obtained from a fabric support (T) shaped and arranged to define alternating opaque (A) and transparent or translucent parallel rectilinear bands. The transparent or translucent bands (B) can be concealed at will under a folding effect by opaque bands (C) previously fixed on a part of the fabric support (T). As will be indicated in the following description, the aim is to obtain a blind or an opacity regulating curtain, and this from a fabric support.

 In a simplified embodiment, the fabric support (T) consists of a piece of fabric having, directly or in an attached manner, by weaving, knitting or otherwise, the alternating opaque (A) and transparent (B) bands. .
