Abstract

Device for skiing consists of a platform (1) with a pole (2) fixed upon it to which can be attached a sail. The assembly is fixed upon a set of skis (3) by means of an intermediate plate (4) that includes shock absorbers (5) and is fixed onto a fixing element (6) on the skis. The fixing element consists of two parts, a superior (8) and inferior plate (7), which are held together by a lock (9). The release means (9) consists of a mechanical latch attached on to the superior plate. The mechanical latch is operated by a spring in conjunction with a lug found on the inferior plate. The latch has a hooked end which catches and locks on the lug thus holding the plates together.
