Abstract

A single sheet of a material such as cardboard is cut to a shape such that when folded it forms a rectangular dust case for objects such as books or cassettes. The rear face of the case is extended by folding flaps (13,12) and also has a double wall (3A,3B). The side walls (2,4) are extended by flaps (11a,11b) and the front wall (1) by a flap (10). The flap (10) has locking tabs (10a,10b) which fit between the thicknesses of the double wall (3A,3B) and are further secured by an additional flap (8). The side flaps (11a,11b) are folded inwards with the inner portion (13) of the rear face flaps above them and the outer portion (12) below them.
