Abstract

A blank and an open crate (16) made of a paperboard sheet material and including a series of enclosing side walls joined to a bottom wall along first fold lines (25), are disclosed. Specifically, the two first opposite side walls (17, 17') are connected to two second opposite side walls (26, 71, 81) via end flaps forming reinforced corner portions. The crate has two corner portions at the same level on one diagonal line, while the other two corner portions on the opposite diagonal line are at a second, lower level.
