Abstract

The furniture has a panel (3), forming a seat, that is held in grooves (4) in side pieces (1), on either side of the panel. The panel has a U-shaped section strip (6), made of plastic material, round its sides and back edges. The base of the section rests on the edge of the panel and its wings extend over its upper and lower surfaces. The wings are at an angle of less than 90 deg to the base. The joint between the wings and the base is curved and its outer surface is convex.
