Abstract

The furniture is made from two identical base plates (1) which have assembly slots (6,7). These are joined by assembly plates (8) which have complementary slots (9). When the furniture is erected the base plates are parallel to each other, at least for part of their length. The base plates and the assembly plates have the same shapes and dimensions. They are flat and have a curved base and straight converging sides. The plates can be the sector of a circle or rectangular or other shapes. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used for modern furniture,garden furniture and children's furniture.Is compact when dismantled.

Description

REMOVABLE FURNITURE
The invention relates mainly to furniture, in particular removable furniture.

 Furniture of known type is of significant cost price and is difficult to assemble or disassemble. In the disassembled condition, they present a significant bulk.

 It is therefore an object of the present invention to offer furniture at a low cost price.

 It is also an object of the present invention to provide furniture that does not present any assembly or disassembly difficulties.

 It is also an object of the present invention to provide furniture having a small footprint in a disassembled condition.

 It is also an object of the present invention to provide furniture the assembly and / or disassembly of which can be carried out without the use of tools.

 The invention mainly relates to a piece of furniture comprising at least two identical base plates, characterized in that the base plates have assembly slots, in that it further comprises at least one assembly plate comprising assembly slots complementary to the assembly slots of the base plates, and in that, in an assembled condition, the two base plates are parallel or substantially parallel over at least part of their length.

 The invention also relates to a piece of furniture, characterized in that the base plates and the assembly plate or plates have the same shape and the same dimensions.

 The invention also relates to a piece of furniture, characterized in that it comprises four plates, of identical or substantially identical dimensions and shape.

 The invention also relates to a piece of furniture, characterized in that said piece of furniture is an armchair, in particular a rocking armchair.

 In FIGS. 1 to 23, the same references have been used to designate the same elements.

 The furniture according to the present invention consists of substantially planar elements comprising assembly slots. Each piece of furniture comprises at least two identical elements which are parallel or substantially parallel in a mounted condition. In a disassembled condition, the planar elements placed on top of each other have a small footprint. They can be stored, for example, behind a classic cabinet or sofa type furniture or in a cellar. Their assembly being extremely fast, it is possible to use them as an occasional piece of furniture or garden furniture. However, furniture whose assembly is final, such as for example glued furniture or urban furniture, for example public benches, in particular made with concrete slabs or slabs, does not depart from the scope of the present invention.

 Figures 1 to 4 illustrate the embodiment of a rocking chair according to the present invention.

 In FIG. 1, we can see a base plate 1 in the form of a truncated dial comprising a rounded base 2 connected to an opposite straight edge 3 by two sides 4 and 5 forming with the straight edge 3 a substantially angle equal to 135. An assembly slot 6 substantially parallel to the edge 3 or advantageously inclined towards the base 2 is provided on the side 4 of the plate 1. A slot 7, orthogonal to the edge 3, or slightly inclined towards side 4 is formed near the end of the edge 3 opposite side 4.

 In FIG. 2, one can see an assembly plate of shape and dimensions substantially identical to those of the plate 1 of FIG. 1. Two slots 9 perpendicular to the edge 3 are formed in the plate 8 from from edge 3.

 As can be seen in FIGS. 3 and 4, a rocking chair is made up from two base plates 1 in FIG. 1 and two assembly plates 8 in FIG. 2. The base plates 1 constitute the sides of the rocking chair. A first assembly plate 8 constitutes the seat while a second assembly plate 8 constitutes the files of the rocking chair. During assembly, shown diagrammatically in FIG. 3, there are two base plates 1 parallel to one another, the rounded base 2 resting on the ground, and the slots 9 d are engaged a first assembly plate 8 in the slots 6 of the plates 1 and the slots 9 of the second plate 8 in the slots 7 of the plates 1.

 It is understood that a chair according to the invention can be equipped with cushions without departing from the scope of the present invention.

 The width of the assembly slots is substantially equal to the thickness of the base plates and assembly plates, so that the furniture according to the invention can be easily assembled and disassembled, and so that, in the assembled condition, The nesting of the slots is stable.

 The furniture according to the invention can be dismantled for transport or storage. However, it is understood that the implementation of the means for adhering the base plates and the assembly plates, such as for example glue or cement, or means for locking the plates with respect to each other , does not depart from the scope of the present invention.

 The assembled rocking chair is shown in Figure 4.

 In FIGS. 5 to 8, we can see the various stages in the construction of a second embodiment of an armchair according to the present invention.

 In FIG. 5, one can see a base plate 10 forming half of a disc comprising a straight base 11 corresponding to the diameter of the disc and a semi-circular periphery 12.

 Slots 13 and 14 are provided in the base plate 10 in positions relative to the base 11 of the plate 10 similar to the positions of the slots 6 and 7 relative to the base 2 of the plate 1.

 In FIG. 6, one can see an assembly plate 15 of shape and dimensions substantially identical to those of the base plate 10 of FIG. 5.

 Two slots 16 are formed in the plate 15 perpendicular to the base 11 and extend from the latter.

 As can be seen in FIGS. 7 and 8, a chair is made up from two base plates 10 in FIG. 5 and two assembly plates 15 in FIG. 6.

 The base plates 10 constitute the sides of the chair, a first assembly plate 15 constitutes the seat while a second assembly plate 15 constitutes the back of the chair.

 During assembly, shown diagrammatically in FIG. 7, two plates 10 are placed parallel to one another, the base 11 resting on the ground and the slots 16 of the first plate d are fitted together. assembly 15 in the slots 13 of the base plates 10 and the slots 16 of the second assembly plate 15 in the slots 14 of the base plates 10. The assembled chair is illustrated in FIG. 8.

 In Figures 9 to 12, we can see the various stages in the production of a third example of furniture according to the present invention.

 In FIG. 9, we can see a rectangular base plate 17 comprising on a first short side 18, a slot 19 and on a first long side 20 a slot 21. In the example illustrated, the slot 19 starts substantially from the middle of side 18 to approach with a slight slope of the long side opposite to side 20. The slit 21 starts near the end of side 20 opposite to side 18 and approaches it with a slight inclination compared to normal at side 20. However, the slots 19 and 21 perpendicular, respectively, to sides 18 and 20 do not depart from the scope of the present invention.

 In Figure 10, we can see a rectangular assembly plate 22 having two slots 23 arranged perpendicularly to one of the long sides, each near one of its ends.

 As can be seen in FIGS. 11 and 12, a chair is made up from two base plates 17 in FIG. 9 and two assembly plates 22 in FIG. 10. The base plates 17 constitute the sides of the chair, a first assembly plate 22 constitutes the seat while a second assembly plate constitutes the back of the chair.

 During assembly, shown diagrammatically in FIG. 11, two plates 17 are placed on the ground parallel to one another and the slots 23 of the first plate 22 are fitted into the slots 19 of the base plates 17 and the slots 23 of the second assembly plate 22 in the slots 21 of the base plates 17.

 The assembled chair is shown in Figure 12.

 In Figures 13 to 17, we can see the mounting of a table according to the present invention.

 In FIG. 13, one can see a rectangular base plate 24 comprising a slot 25 arranged orthogonally substantially in the middle of a small side of the plate 24 and a slot 26 disposed orthogonally in the middle of one of its long sides.

 In FIG. 14, one can see a rectangular assembly plate 27 of configuration substantially analogous to the plate 22 of FIG. 10 comprising two slots 28 arranged orthogonally to one of the long sides.

 In FIG. 15, one can see a T-shaped assembly part comprising two slots placed in the extension of one another and a slot placed orthogonally to these two slots.

 The T-shaped part advantageously has a small thickness.

 As will be explained below, the T-piece can be used in the device according to the present invention for the assembly of certain plates.

 From two base plates 24 in Figure 13 and an assembly plate 27 in Figure 14, one can make the base of a coffee table, as shown in Figure 16, or the base d 'a table of normal height, as illustrated in figure 17.

 In the example illustrated in FIG. 16, we can see two base boards 24 arranged in parallel, their long assembly sides and the slots 26 directed upwards. The slots 28 of a board 27 are fitted into the slots 26 of two boards 24.

 In a first variant embodiment, a board forming a tray is placed on the base thus formed by the boards 24 and the board 27.

 Advantageously, the slots corresponding to the vertical branch of the T of two T-shaped parts in FIG. 15 are inserted on the long side of the assembly board 27 opposite the side carrying the slots 28. In each of the slots corresponding to the branches horizontal plates of the T are inserted plates forming half of the table top of figure 16.

 In FIG. 17, one can see the assembly of a table of normal height from two plates 24 arranged in parallel, their short sides resting on the ground, the slots 25 directed upwards. Similarly to the assembly of FIG. 16, slots 28 of the assembly plate penetrate into the slots 25 of the plates 24.

 The table top in Figure 17 can be made similar to that in Figure 16.

 Advantageously, two base plates 24, the assembly plate 27 and the two plates forming the plate have the same dimensions, for example 40 cm by 70 cm.

 It is understood that a plate 24 comprising only the slot 26 for making a coffee table or only a slot 25 for making a table of normal height does not depart from the scope of the present invention. Likewise, the fitting of four plates 27 makes it possible to make a base for coffee tables. Thus, according to the invention, it is as well possible to have plates dedicated to the production of certain pieces of furniture as standard plates making it possible to arrive at the configuration of the desired furniture.

 In FIGS. 18 to 23, one can see an airplane-shaped swing according to the present invention.

 In FIG. 18, one can see a base plate 29 symbolizing the sides of the cabin of an airplane. The plate 29 has a rounded base 30, a cabin 31 and a jibe 32. A first slot 33 is formed in the lower front part of the base 30. A vertical slot 34 is formed from the upper front part of the plate base 29.

A horizontal slot 35 is provided at the front of the passenger compartment 31. A slot 36 slightly inclined towards the front relative to the vertical is provided at the rear of the passenger compartment 31. A horizontal slot 37 is provided at the rear jibe base 32.

 In FIG. 19, one can see an assembly plate 38 in the shape of a wing, the front edge 39 of which is rounded and the rear edge 40 is rectilinear. Two slots 41 orthogonal to the edge 40 extend substantially symmetrically with respect to the axis of the wing with a spacing equal to the width of the cabin intended for example to receive a child.

 In FIG. 20, one can see an assembly plate 42 in the form of a rear stabilizer having the general shape similar to that of the plate 39, but on a reduced scale. Two slots 43 are formed parallel to the axis of the aircraft from the front edge of the plate 42. It should be noted that the spacing of the slots 43 of the plate 42 is less than the spacing of the slots 41 of the plate 38.

 In Figure 21, we can see an assembly plate 44 of rectangular shape having two slots 45 formed orthogonally to one of the long sides.

 In FIGS. 22 and 23, we can see the assembly of an airplane-shaped swing from two base plates 29 in FIG. 18, an assembly plate 38 in FIG. 19, of an assembly plate 42 of FIG. 20 and of three assembly plates 44 of FIG. 21.

 The assembly of the various plates is illustrated in FIG. 22. The plates 29 are arranged vertically on the ground, resting on their bases parallel to one another. The slots 41 of the plate 38 are made to penetrate the slots 33 of the plates 29. The slots 45 of a first plate 44 are made to penetrate into the slot 34 of the plates 29. The slots 45 are made to penetrate of a second plate 44 in the slots 36 of the plates 29. The slots 45 are made to penetrate a third plate 44 in the slots 35 of the plates 29. The rear of the plates 29 is deformed so as to bring together the gybes 32 to make the slots 43 of the plate 42 penetrate into the slots 37 of the plates 39. This deformation ensures that the aircraft is held in elasticity in the mounted condition illustrated in FIG. 23. It should be noted that, without exiting of the framework of the present invention, the two plates 29 are parallel in the mounted condition of the swing only between the front and the slots 36. However, it is understood that an aircraft-shaped piece of furniture having a spacing slots 43 identical to the spacing of slots 41 and 45, as surant the parallelism between the plates 29 over their entire lengths, is not beyond the scope of the present invention.

 The aircraft in FIG. 23 comprises a passenger compartment 31, the wing 38 of which constitutes the floor, the first plate 44 the front wall, the second plate 44 the rear wall, the plates 29 the side walls and the third plate 44 a shelf. Thanks to the spacing of the plates 29, the presence of a transverse plate 38 and its generally elongated shape, the airplane-shaped swing of FIG. 23 is particularly stable and allows a child to play in complete safety.

 The furniture according to the present invention can be made of various materials, in particular wood, and its agglomerated or plywood type derivatives, metal, concrete, plastic, glass, plexiglass, altuglas or composite materials. The plates used can be full or empty depending on the thickness and the resistance that we want to give them.

 The various plates can, for aesthetic reasons, be colored in bright colors. Pigmentation can be carried out on the surface or in the mass of the plates according to the invention. The various plates of the same piece of furniture or even the opposite faces of the same plate can be of different colors.

 The invention mainly applies to the production of furniture.

 The invention is particularly applicable to the production of modern furniture, garden furniture, children's furniture and urban furniture.

Claims (10)

 1. Furniture comprising at least two identical base plates (1,10,17,24,29), characterized in that the base plates comprise assembly slots (6,7,13,14,19,21, 25,26,33,34,35,36,37), in that it further comprises at least one assembly plate (8,15,22,27,38,42,44) having slots assembly (9,16,23,28,41,43,45) complementary to the assembly slots of the base plates, and in that, in a mounted condition, the two base plates are parallel or substantially parallel on at least part of their length.  2. Furniture according to claim 1, characterized in that the base plates (1,10,17,24,29) and the assembly plate (s) (8,15,22,27,38,42 , 44) have the same shape and the same dimensions.  3. Furniture according to claim 2, characterized in that it comprises four plates (1 and 8, 10 and 15, 17 and 22), of identical and substantially identical dimensions and shape.  4. Furniture according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said furniture is an armchair, in particular a rocking armchair.  5. Furniture according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that said furniture is a table.  6. Furniture according to claim 4, characterized in that it comprises two rectangular base plates (24) comprising an assembly slot (26) on one of their short sides and an assembly slot (25) on one of their big sides.  7. Furniture according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises base plates (1,8,10,15,29,38,42) comprising at least one rounded edge (2,12,30 ).  8. Furniture according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, in a mounted condition, the base plates (29) are parallel over a first part of their length and that they are constrained by an assembly plate (42) to approach each other, by elastic deformation over a second part of their lengths.  9. Furniture according to any one of claims 1, 2, 3, 7 or 8, characterized in that said furniture is a swing.  10. Furniture according to any one of claims 1, 2, 3, 7, 8 or 9, characterized in that said furniture is a child's furniture in the shape of an aircraft.
