Abstract

The seat can be adjusted to form a reclining chair and has two U-shaped plates (1,1a) which are articulated to each other by an axle (5). The plates have a median plane (2,2a) and two lateral planes (3,3a,4,4a), perpendicular to the median plane. In the seat position the median planes are in contact while two lateral planes (3,3a) form the seat and the other two (4,4a) form the legs. They are held together at the bottom by a pin (7). In the unfolded position, the median planes form the seat and back of the seat, while the lateral planes form the legs.
