Abstract

Composition comprises a homogeneous mixture of not more than 1/1000 w/w of a homogeneous extract of quail's egg and a support adapted for application in the form of a surface layer or film, to a human or animal body. The composition comprises 0.01-0.05 (preferably 0.02-0.04) w/w of quail's egg extract, which is preferably obtained by lyophilisation of all or part of the fluids, yolk or white. The support preferably comprises a homogenous emulsion consisting of at least two phases adapted for application to human skin or scalp. The composition is formulated as a cream, balm, ointment, oil, shampoo, mousse or soap.
