Abstract

The file has a rectangular shape with or without a top closure flap (1e). The rear panel (1a) has a pair of lateral flaps (1c) which engage with the cooperating lateral flaps (1g) of a pivotable front panel (1f). The two pairs of cooperating lateral flaps engage by fasteners (4,5) on one flap which fit into slots (1l,1m,1n) on the other flap. The slots are arcuate in shape and of increasing length towards the top of the file, allowing relative movement of the rear and front panels up to a fully-open position at a predetermined angle ( alpha ). The front panel may have a gripping tongue (7) or similar attachment for pulling the file to its open position.

CLASSIFICATION ARTICLE
The invention relates to the technical sector of classification, and more particularly of the suitcase type, storage and archive boxes and the like.

 It is well known to produce storage articles in the aforementioned forms allowing the classification of different files, documents and the like.

In certain cases, these classification articles are established in fixed, non-deformable volumetric forms. One drawback is that when the article is "loaded" with many files or documents, it is impractical and easy to select the chosen document. In addition to the deterioration of the file or the inserted parts, one very often arrives to be injured the fingers of the hand being able to cause some bleeding and to try by correlation the documents and parts contained.

There are also known bags having different compartments and laterally comprising bellows shapes.

Such a solution is practical because it makes it possible to adapt a variable volume to different needs.

The disadvantage, however, is that users tend to over-load the pockets defining each filing area. The suitcase is then deformed and its external volume takes on a frustoconical or domed appearance which no longer facilitates its storage when there are several suitcases of this type arranged side by side. It becomes practically inconceivable to be able to develop this type of classification, with the exception of a single copy.

The aim sought, according to the invention, was therefore to remedy these drawbacks by proposing a simple solution, inexpensive, and offering great flexibility of use.

According to a first characteristic of the invention, the classification article is established in an initial parallelepiped configuration with or without a closing flap, the article having a bottom face fitted with lateral wings allowing the positioning of a wall of front also having lateral wings capable of superimposing the previous ones, the front wall being articulated with respect to the bottom face by means of means arranged on the side wings opposite, allowing a temporary widening of the opening of access in the classification article to have an easier grasp of all or part of its content.

These characteristics and others will become apparent from the following description.

To fix the object of the invention illustrated in a nonlimiting manner in the figures of the drawings where: - Figure 1 is a view of the classification article in perspective in the closed position, - Figure 2 is a sectional view transverse of the filing article after opening the closing and locking flap, but in the initial position, - Figure 3 is a side view of the filing article, illustrating the opening by widening in width of the article .

In order to make the object of the invention more concrete, it is now described in a nonlimiting manner illustrated in the figures of the drawings.

The classification article is referenced as a whole by (1). It is produced in the form of a box of parallelepipedic initial volume, produced in any suitable material such as cardboard, or in plastic material such as polypropylene.

According to the invention, the classification article comprises a bottom wall (la) extending by a bottom part (in), by two lateral wings (1c - nest), and in its upper part by a closing flap ( 1 e) capable of receiving fasteners (2) or known fixing means. In the context of the invention, the classification article may not include a closing flap without modifying the concept of the latter.

Advantageously, on its upper part, the article receives one or more gripping handles (3).

According to the invention, the article has a front face (1 f) arranged with two lateral wings (lg - 1h) which come in normal position for classifying or storing the article, overlapping, by

The front face (If) is capable of being articulated by pivoting forwards, relative to the bottom face at a limited angulation a, in order to promote access to the various files contained in the article by creating artificially and temporarily widening the opening of access to the file in the classification article. Due to this provisional enlargement, the files tend to deviate from each other, thus allowing better consultation and gripping of the selected document. The installation is carried out in the following manner. On the internal lateral wings (1c - nest), one or more openings (11 - lm) of curvilinear shape are provided, thus defining an arc of a circle and corresponding to the closing and to the maximum opening of the front wall of the article.

In parallel, one or more rivets (4 - 5) are arranged and fixed on the outer wings near their end edge to come, during the initial positioning of the filing article, close to the bottom wall. These rivets pass through said slots and allow rigid fixing of the respective lateral wings.

Another rivet (5) is placed in the lower part of the article on its wings (1c - id - 1g - 1h) to allow the articulation of the front wall, through a lumen (in) of shorter length than the previous. The different lights are of progressive length from bottom to top to take account of the opening angle of the classification article.

The use of rivets is simple and inexpensive to produce while ensuring rigidity of the assembly of high quality.

The classification article is advantageously made in one piece in its various constituent parts which are precut and shaped with folding zones making it possible to define said parts.

The classification article can be opened using a manual operator action on the front wall. Alternatively, a pull tab (6) can be arranged, as shown diagrammatically. The front wall comprises complementary attachment means (7) cooperating with those formed on the closing flap.

This classification article is therefore of a simple and inexpensive design. The manipulation and its widening of opening are a function of the load in files contained and leave all freedom to the operator to open, according to a determined angulation and according to the latter's needs.

This arrangement is adaptable for any filing box. It should be noted that it is absolutely necessary to fold down the front wall internally to ensure complete closure of the classification article which therefore resumes its initial parallelepiped shape. The filing box may or may not include a closing flap.

We can then archive the classification article normally.

-1 - Classification article, characterized in that it is established in an initial parallelepiped configuration with or without a closing flap (read), the article having a bottom face (la) arranged with lateral wings (1c - 1d) authorizing the positioning of a front wall (1f) also having lateral wings (ig 1h) capable of coming in superposition of the previous ones, the front wall being articulated relative to the bottom face using means (11 - lm - in - 4 - 5) arranged on the opposite side wings, allowing a temporary widening of the access opening in the classification article to have an easier grip of all or part of its content . - 2 - Classification article, according to claim 1, characterized in that the lateral wings (lc - 1d) are arranged with one or more openings (11 - lm - in) of curvilinear shape and of progressive length from bottom to top, and in that rivets (4 - 5) are arranged on the adjacent lateral wings (lg - 1h) crossing said holes to ensure a rigid connection. The angulation a corresponding to the maximum tilting of the front face is given by the abutment of the rivets (4) at the ends of each lumen (it). - 3 - Classification article according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the front face (if) is articulated relative to the bottom wall (la) from a rivet (5) disposed in the lower part of the article, and is orientable according to an angulation a corresponding to the displacement of the rivets (4) arranged through the large apertures (il) and moving therein, - 4 - Classification article according to any one of claims 2 and 3, characterized in that a pull tab (6) is disposed on the front wall (If).
