Abstract

The device comprises a body (3) having an upper wall (31) hinged as a cover. It has a support element (4) on which the packaged product rests. The support is coupled to the upper wall by a coupling (5) so that when the upper wall is opened the product is partially extracted from the packaging to a position in which it is accessible and highlighted.

  When a product is packaged, for example in a box, it is not always easy to extract it from its packaging, especially when the latter is very tall and the shape of the upper part of the

  product does not facilitate gripping thereof.

  Furthermore, when you want to highlight a product, you take it out of its packaging to place it on a display stand independent of the packaging. The object of the present invention is to propose a device which, at the same time,

  facilitates the extraction of the packaged product and allows its development.

  According to the invention, a device for extracting and enhancing a packaged product is characterized in that it comprises, on the one hand, a body provided at its upper part with an upper wall mounted articulated at in the manner of a cover, and, on the other hand, a support element on which is intended to rest the packaged product, said support element being coupled to the upper wall of said body by means of coupling, so that , when said upper wall is moved in opening, the product is partially extracted from the packaging to a position in which it is

accessible and highlighted.

  Thus, when such a device is used in a package closed by a cover, after opening the cover of the package, by lifting the upper wall of the body of the device, in the manner of a second cover, the support element is driven upward, dragging with him

the product.

  Advantageously, the articulated mounting of said upper wall on the body and the coupling means are arranged so that the upper wall can be moved in opening and closing many times,

  the device being usable at will.

  Advantageously, the support element is in the form of a stirrup and comprises a bottom intended to receive the product and two rising wings extending generally perpendicular to said bottom from two parallel edges thereof and the coupling means comprises two wings drooping to which the ends of the two rising wings of the support element are connected respectively; the two rising wings of the support element are hinged respectively on the two wings

drooping from the coupling means.

  Preferably, the articulation assembly comprises a circular opening formed in one of the wings into which the end of the other wing is elastically introduced, said end having a T-shape whose horizontal bar has a length greater than the diameter of said

  Preferably, the packaging comprises a box defining a volume in the general shape of a parallelepiped, and the body of the device comprises six walls, an upper wall, a lower wall, a rear wall, a front wall and two side walls, these six walls being intended to line the six sides of the box internally, is characterized in that it comprises a support element, on which is intended to rest the packaged product, coupled to the upper wall of said body by a coupling means. Advantageously, the upper wall of the body is articulated by its rear edge along the upper edge of the rear wall of the body and the coupling means comprises a so-called vertical partition and a so-called intermediate partition, articulated one relative to the other, the vertical partition extending generally parallel to the rear wall of the body and the intermediate partition extending generally parallel to the upper wall of the body, the vertical partition being moreover hingedly connected to the upper wall of the body and the partition intermediate being also connected to articulation to the rear wall of the body; the vertical and intermediate partitions are provided with notches for the passage of the product; preferably, the notch formed in the vertical and / or intermediate partition is a wedging notch for the product: thanks to this arrangement, the shape of the notch being adapted to the external shape of the product, it is

  Preferably, the articulation of the vertical partition on the upper wall of the body is at a distance both from the rear wall of the body and from the

  free edge of the upper wall of said body.

  Advantageously, the lower wall is articulated on one side to the rear wall and on the other side to the front wall; preferably, the front wall carries wedging means for the product: thus, the shape of the wedging means being adapted to the external shape of the product, it is perfectly wedged

  Preferably, the front wall is less tall than the rear wall.

Here, a package consists of a box 1 containing a

  device 2 for extracting and enhancing the packaged product.

  The box 1 as shown defines a volume in the general shape of a parallelepiped; it has a cover 1 1 with tongue 17 articulated along an upper edge 12; at the edge of the edges 13 and 14 perpendicular to the upper edge 12 of articulation, two flaps 15, 16 are provided; such a box 1 is for example made of cardboard and conventionally produced by cutting and

folding a blank.

  The device 2 according to the invention, better visible in FIG. 2, is

  consisting of a body 3 and a support element 4.

  The body 3 comprises, FIG. 3, six walls, an upper wall 31, a lower wall 32, a so-called rear wall 33, a so-called front wall 34, and two side walls 35, 36. The support element 4, FIG. 4 , is in the form of a stirrup and has a bottom 41, of generally rectangular shape, intended to receive the product to be packaged and from which extend two so-called rising wings 42, 43 extending generally perpendicular to said bottom 41, from two 44.45 parallel edges thereof; the ends 46, 47 respectively of the rising wings 42, 43 are in the general shape of a T, more precisely here in the form of a circular sector connected by a straight part 48, 49 to the main part

  of trapezoidal shape of the rising wing 42,43.

  The support element 4 of the device 2 is coupled to the upper wall

  1 5 31 of the body 3 by a coupling means 5.

  The coupling means 5 comprises two so-called drooping wings 52, 53 to which the ends 46, 47 of the two wings are connected respectively.

  More specifically, the upper wall 31 of the body 3 is articulated by its rear edge 61 along the upper edge of the rear wall 33 of the body 3 and the coupling means 5 comprises a so-called vertical partition 54 and a so-called intermediate partition 55 articulated in 56 one with respect to the other; the vertical partition 54 is moreover connected at articulation at 57 to the upper wall 31 of the body 3 while the intermediate partition 55 is

  The joints 58 and 61 are parallel and at a distance from each other equal to the height of the vertical partition 54; the joints 57 and 61 are parallel and at a distance from each other equal to the height of the intermediate partition 55; thus, the vertical partition 54 and the rear wall 33 are parallel, as well as the intermediate partition 55 and the upper wall 31, the partitions 54.55 and the walls 31.33 defining a parallelepiped

  deformable around the joints 56,57,58,61.

  The vertical partitions 54 and intermediate 55 are provided with notches, respectively 59 and 60, opening one into the other in the articulation zone 56; the cutting of these notches 59.60 is advantageously adapted to the shape of the product to be packaged, with a view to

to ensure the timing thereof.

  The two drooping wings 52, 53 of the coupling means 5 extend laterally on either side of the intermediate partition 55, generally perpendicular thereto from its parallel edges other

  than those by which it is articulated in 56,58.

  The two drooping wings 52, 53 are each provided with a circular opening, respectively 62, 63, each intended to receive one of the ends 46, 47 of the rising wings 42, 43 of the support element 4 for articulation mounting. said support element 4 on the coupling means 5; this assembly is obtained by introducing by elastic deformation the T-shaped ends 46,47 of the rising wings 42,43 whose width is greater than the diameter of the circular openings 62, 63; thus, as can be seen in FIG. 2, the support element 4 is somehow suspended from the coupling means 5 while being able to rotate relative to it; the relative dimensions of the parts are such that, when the upper wall 31 is moved around its articulation 61, in opening for example, the support element 4 rises relative to the lower wall 32 while

remaining parallel to it.

  To facilitate handling of the upper wall 31, in particular during opening, the latter has a gripping notch 38 on its free edge

  39 parallel to its articulation 61.

  The body 3 can be made of any material; it can for example be made of cardboard and can be obtained easily, including its coupling means

  5, by cutting, folding, gluing the same blank.

  Such a cut blank is shown flat in FIG. 5. Here, it is made of double-sided corrugated cardboard; the corrugations of the intermediate corrugated layer are inclined, here 30 degrees, relative to the main longitudinal direction of the blank, as shown in the cutout D in the figure

  Grooves, shown in dotted lines, facilitate folding; some will materialize the joints described above and bear the references thereof. We recognize in Figure 5 the different parts of the body 3 described with reference to Figure 3; there are also strong lines C showing areas intended to receive glue; at each end, at the upper part and at the lower part with respect to FIG. 5, there are provided tongues, respectively 33B and 34B, of generally trapezoidal shape; the tongue 33B, at the top, extends the vertical partition 54 beyond the articulation 58; the tongue 34B, at the bottom, extends the front wall 34; a transverse tongue 66 connects the upper wall 31 to the

vertical partition 54.

  To make the body 3 of FIG. 3, first of all glue the zones C, then the tongue 34B is folded 180 degrees which is folded over the front wall 34, which stiffens the latter; then, the upper part is also folded 180 degrees around the edge 39, thus folding the tongue 33B on the rear wall 33 and the transverse tongue 66 on the upper wall 31; the body 3 is then in the configuration shown on the

figure 6.

  After having folded the drooping wings 52 and 53 at 90 degrees, it suffices to tilt the upper wall 31 relative to the rear wall 33 to deploy

the coupling means 5.

  The support element 4 is obtained by cutting a blank shown flat in FIG. 7, also from double-sided corrugated cardboard; here, the corrugations have a transverse direction, as shown in the cutout D in FIG. 7. Grooves, shown in dotted lines, facilitate the setting at right angles of the rising wings 42, 43, as shown in FIG. 4, as well as the introduction elastic of the ends 46,47, in the openings 62,63, of the

  drooping wings 52,53 of the coupling means 5 of the body 3.

  The assembled assembly is shown in FIG. 2. Several ways are possible for producing a parallelepiped body by cutting and folding rectangular walls; here, we have chosen to articulate the lower wall 32 on one side to the rear wall 33 and on the other side to the front wall 34; similarly, the side walls 35, 36 are each articulated at the

  rear wall 33 along respectively its two vertical parallel edges.

  It should be noted that the front wall 34 is less tall than the rear wall 33; in fact, the height of the front wall 34 can be adapted to that of the product to be packaged; however, it is arranged so that it is high enough so that its upper edge is not reached by the bottom 41 of the support element 1 5 when it is in its highest position, this to avoid that this bottom 41 does not come to abut, on return when closing, against the upper edge of the front wall 34; moreover, the height thereof must be such that, in the closed position, the bottom 41 of the support element 4 is in contact with the lower wall 32 of the body 3, the upper wall 31 being spaced from the edge upper of the front wall 34, to avoid that, during transport, the drooping wings 52,53 and rising 42,43 are not in tension. As will have been noted, the articulation 57 of the vertical partition 54 on the upper wall 31 of the body 3 is at a distance both from the rear wall 33 of the body 3 and from the free edge 39 of the upper wall 31; this distance to said free edge 39 is adjusted by the height of the transverse tongue 66 of the

blank, figure 5.

  its description; Figures 9 to 11 briefly illustrate this implementation

artwork.

  The device 2 is inserted with the product, here shown schematically by a bottle

  in dashed lines, in box 1, the cover 1 1 is closed.

  After opening the cover 1 1 of the box 1, the upper wall 31 of the wedging device 2 is raised; in its movement, it drives the support element 4 as well as the product; FIG. 10 illustrates a position in which the upper wall 31 is ajar; when its opening is complete, Figure 11, we see that a significant part of the product emerges from the box 1, which facilitates its visualization and its gripping; thanks to the flaps 15 raised from the box 1, the upper wall 31 of the device 2 can be released: it is kept open by abutting on the edge of the flaps 15; therefore, the device 2 according to the invention allows the use of the packaging as a display for the product; this use as a display is better

  visible in perspective in Figure 8.

  Of course, variants are possible; thus, in FIG. 12, the front wall 34 carries wedging means for the product; here, the tongue 1 34B is not folded and glued completely flat on this front wall 34 but folds, here at right angles, allow the creation of a protuberance

  provided with a cutout 1 60 adapted to the external shape of the product.

Claims (19)

  1. Device for extracting and enhancing a packaged product, characterized in that it comprises, on the one hand, a body (3) provided at its upper part with an upper wall (31) mounted articulated in the manner of a cover, and, on the other hand, a support element (4) on which is intended to rest the packaged product, said support element (4) being coupled to the upper wall (31) of said body (3) by coupling means (5), so that, when said upper wall (31) is moved in opening, the product is partially removed from the packaging to a position in   which it is accessible and highlighted.   2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the articulated mounting of said upper wall (31) on the body (3) and the coupling means (5) are arranged so that the upper wall (31) can be moved in opening and closing many times, the device i 5 being usable at will.   3. Device according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized by the   the support element (4) is in the shape of a stirrup and has a bottom (41) intended to receive the product and two rising wings (42, 43) extending generally perpendicular to said bottom (41) from two edges (44,45) parallel to it and the coupling means (5) comprises two drooping wings (52,53) to which the ends are connected respectively   (46,47) of the two rising wings (42,43) of the support element (4).   4. Device according to claim 3, characterized in that the two rising wings (42,43) of the support element (4) are mounted with articulation respectively on the two falling wings (52,53) of the means coupling (5).   5. Device according to claim 4, characterized in that the articulation assembly comprises a circular opening (62,63) formed in one of the wings (52,53) in which the end (46,47) is introduced elastically ) of the other wing (42,43), said end (46,47) having a T shape whose horizontal bar has a length greater than the diameter of   said circular opening (62,63).   6. Device according to one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the   packaging includes a box <(1) defining a volume in the general shape of a parallelepiped, characterized in that the body (3) of the device has six walls, an upper wall (31), a lower wall (32), a rear wall (33), a front wall (34) and two side walls (35, 36), these six walls being intended to internally line the six faces of the box (1).   7. Device according to claim 6, characterized in that the upper wall (31) of the body (3) is articulated by its rear edge (61) along the upper edge of the rear wall (33) of the body (3) and the coupling means (5) comprises a so-called vertical partition (54) and a so-called intermediate partition (55), articulated with respect to each other, the vertical partition (54) extending i15 generally parallel to the rear wall (33) of the body (3) and the intermediate partition (55) extending generally parallel to the upper wall (31) of the body (3), the vertical partition (54) being moreover connected to articulation (57 ) at the upper wall (31) of the body (3) and the intermediate partition (55) being moreover connected to articulation (58) at the rear wall (33) of the body (3).   8. Device according to Claim 7, characterized in that the vertical (54) and intermediate (55) partitions are provided with notches (59.60) for the passage of the product.   9. Device according to claim 8, characterized in that the notch (59,60) formed in the vertical partition (54) and / or   intermediate (55) is a setting notch for the product.   10. Device according to one of claims 7 to 9, characterized by the   fact that the articulation (57) of the vertical partition (54) on the upper wall (31) of the body (3) is at a distance both from the rear wall (33) of the body (3) and   from the free edge (39) of the upper wall (31) of said body (3).   11. Device according to one of claims 6 to 10, characterized by the   the bottom wall (32) is hinged on one side to the rear wall (33) and   on the other hand to the front wall (34).   12. Device according to claim 11, characterized in that the front wall (34) carries wedging means (134B-160) for the product.   13. Device according to one of claims 6 to 12, characterized by the   the front wall (34) is lower than the rear wall (33).   14. Device according to one of claims 6 to 13, characterized by the   the side walls (35,36) are each articulated to the rear wall   (33) along respectively its two vertical parallel edges.   15.
