Abstract

The device includes a female element (A) constituted by a sheath (1) surmounted by a collar (2). This assembly is embedded in the hole situated in the sliding door. Description

The present invention relates to a device for locking the opening of sliding frames.

The closing of the basic sliding frame is ensured by a very smooth closing opening from the inside by a simple pressure, and is violable from the outside either with bare hand or very easily using a crowbar.

The keys used are not from the range of those commonly used for entry doors or other exterior doors, they are small, therefore a very fragile lock, and implies having to have a very large set of keys.

The device according to the invention makes it possible to make the sliding device inviolable from the outside, except breakage of glass and car-ram, and from the inside after very great efforts.

The system inserted in the closed position prevents the sliding of the racks.

The system being condemned by a security key, any violation of the interior will be very difficult. This same key can also equip the exterior locks of the house (entrance doors, balcony doors, cellars ...).

According to the particular embodiments of the invention, I1 simply make a hole at the axis of the uprights of the sliding frame and introduce a system into it. This hole can be made either in the lower or upper part, or when the profile allows it one meter from the ground and serve as a handle. This system can be fitted with a security key that can be adapted to any opening in the home.

In the head part can be inserted a lock controlled by a key. It controls the mechanism inserted in the rod, which exerts pressure on two balls, the latter returning in the open position and leaving in the closed position. The balls in the closed position prevent any withdrawal of the rod.

According to a variant not illustrated, we can adapt this system to a handle constituting a lock assembly with a sliding handle and, thus avoiding any precarious accessories for closing the current sliding elements.

The device of the invention is particularly intended for locking sliding doors in a secure manner.
