Abstract

The blank has several cut-out side walls that are connected by prefolded crease lines. It has a main wall (4) that forms the base of the card, and at least one enclosing wall (5) attached to the main wall and forming a cavity (7) for the objects to be packaged.An attachment wall (8) is provided to permit the main wall and enclosing wall to be connected together and at least one closure flap (10) is provided for the object cavity. It has a transverse dimension that is greater than that of the opening with respect to the fold line (11).

  FOR THE REALIZATION OF A PACKAGING CARD,

  PACKING CARD REALIZED FROM THE CUT

  AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SUCH A PACKAGING CARD

  The invention relates to a cardboard or equivalent blank intended for producing a packaging card a packaging card comprising at least one object enclosed in the housing of a card produced from such a blank; and, finally, a method of producing such a packaging card. Many everyday objects and in particular having dimensions such as they hold in the hand are packaged using "blister" type packaging. The blister type packaging is conventionally made up of two parts, namely a substantially flat part and a shell-shaped part. These two parts are associated with each other to define a space in which the object o the set of objects to be packaged is located. In one embodiment, the substantially flat part is made of cardboard or equivalent and the shell-shaped part is made of transparent plastic and is associated by various means such as glue, staples, etc., on the flat part. One of the drawbacks of this type of packaging is its composite composition (especially cardboard / plastic) which does not allow easy and inexpensive recycling. It is indeed necessary to provide (in the procedure for recycling such packaging) an additional step of separating non-recyclable materials together. To overcome this drawback, manufacturers

  have developed single-material packaging.

  We already know different embodiments of the single-material packaging also comprising a flat part and a shell forming a receptacle. These other packages conventionally include several cut walls connected to each other by grooved pre-folding lines, the assembly then being associated by gluing, stapling or any other means of securing so that the object or objects are trapped in a housing which it cannot only be broken into

voluntary by the user.

  The problems posed by these single-material packaging are: the need for a low cost both with regard to the material used and the production method, the possibility of mechanizing the positioning of the object or objects on the flat part in an economical manner; the effective maintenance of the sample on the flat part by

  shell; and the existence of a tamper-evident device.

  The invention aims to meet these requirements and to this end, it offers a cardboard or equivalent cut intended for the production of a single-material packaging card, comprising several cut walls and connected together by grooved pre-folding lines: - at at least one main wall capable of forming the base of the card; - At least one covering wall associated with the main wall capable of forming, with it, a housing for one or more objects; and, associated with the main wall or with the covering wall, - at least one joining wall capable of allowing reciprocal joining of the main wall and the covering wall; and - at least one closing flap of the housing of the object or objects considered having, relative to its fold line, a transverse dimension greater than that corresponding to the opening of said housing which it is intended to close so that its flap to be closed by force, said flap then being locked

in the accommodation.

  According to other features of the blank according to the invention, it comprises a single or double main wall. The covering wall may comprise a single section or two successive sections or even three successive sections. In the latter case, these are two or two series of end sections capable of defining the transverse dimension of the housing and one or a series of median sections capable of defining the longitudinal dimension. The covering wall may include at least one window. The securing wall and / or the closing flap is / are associated with the covering wall. The cutout may include two identical or substantially identical closure flaps on either side of the covering wall. The transverse dimension of a closing flap is of the order of 10 to 20% greater than that corresponding to the opening of said housing. In a preferred embodiment, the cutout comprises: - a single or double main wall; - A covering wall in three sections, namely two or two series of end sections, the first of which adjoins the main wall and one or a series of middle sections without or with at least one window; - a joining wall adjoining the second end section; and two adjoining closing flaps

  in the middle section on both sides.

  According to another aspect, the invention relates to a packaging card comprising one or more objects enclosed in the housing of a card produced from a cut as it has just been defined in which the closure flap (s) and o are folded back inside the housing by being locked and preventing or

  limiting the travel of the packed object (s).

  According to other characteristics, a closing flap made with the main wall an angle between 20 and 80 approximately more especially between 20

and 45 approximately.

  Finally, according to a third aspect, the invention

  relates to a process for producing such a card

  packaging in which: - one starts from a cut as previously defined presented flat; - The covering wall is then folded back and the fixing wall is joined in order to constitute the housing; and finally - the objects to be packaged are introduced into the housing and then the housing is completely closed by folding the closing flap and making it penetrate

force in said housing.

  As follows from the above, the cutouts for the realization of the packaging card can be delivered flat which is a source of great convenience. Then, the packaging card is placed in volume then the object or objects are placed in the housing and the flap (s) is / are folded (s). This folding is achieved by force and once made, the flap (s) cannot (wind) open without the positive action of the user. In addition, the closing flaps being arranged towards the interior of the housing, inclined relative to the main wall, there follows a blocking effect of the object or objects. Finally, the closing flaps are fairly largely hidden from the view of the outside user, which gives a

  attractive visual effect for the packaging card.

  The other characteristics of the invention

  will result from the description which follows with reference to

  attached drawings in which: - Figure 1 is a schematic view of a flat cutout for the production of a packaging card;

  - Figure 2 is a schematic view of the card-

  perspective packaging, once set in volume; - Figure 3 is a schematic view along the

  section line III-III of figure 2.

  The invention relates to a cutout 1 of cardboard or equivalent intended to trap one or more objects 2 for

form a packaging card 3.

  Cut 1 includes several cut walls

  interconnected by grooved pre-folding lines.

  These walls are as follows: - at least one main wall 4 capable of forming the base of the packaging card 3; - At least one covering wall 5 associated with the main wall 4 by a grooved line 6. This covering wall 5 is capable of forming with the main wall 4 once the cut 1 has been set in volume, a

  housing 7 in which the object or objects 2 is placed.

  At least one joining wall 8 is associated with the main wall 4 or with the covering wall 5 first by a grooved line 9. This joining wall 8 is capable of allowing the reciprocal joining of the main wall 4 and the wall of

recovery 5.

  At least one closing flap is associated with the main wall 4 or with the covering wall 5 by a grooved line 11. The flap 10 is intended to

closing the housing 7.

  The shutter 10 has, with respect to its grooved fold lines 11, a transverse dimension H greater than that corresponding to the opening h of the housing 7. Thanks to this characteristic, the flap of the shutter 10 for closing the housing 7 is produced by force, said flap 10

  then being locked in the housing 7.

  The main wall 4 can be simple or, as in the embodiment shown, double. It then comprises a first and a second main wall respectively 4a, 4b associated with each other by a grooved line 12. The second wall 4b forms the front of the packaging card 3 while the first wall 4a forms the back. The covering wall 5 is associated with the first main wall 4a on the opposite side where the

grooved line 12.

  Insofar as the two main walls 4a, 4b are intended to overlap one over the other, they are preferably substantially the same dimensions. These walls can have a shape

  different, the outline is not rectangular.

  In the embodiments shown in the figures, the second main wall 4b folds over the first main wall 4a and the covering wall 5 is erected on the second main wall 4b. Thus, the second main wall 4b is interposed between the

  first main wall 4a and the covering wall 5.

  The covering wall 5 can be the subject of

several embodiments.

  In the embodiment shown in the figures, the covering wall 5 comprises three successive sections, namely: two end sections 13, 14 and a middle section 15 interposed between the two end sections. These three sections 13, 14, 15 together form a tongue. The end section 13 is associated in the embodiment shown, with the main wall 4, in particular 4a, by the grooved line 6. The middle section 15 is associated with the two sections 13, 14 by two grooved lines respectively 16 and 17. Quant at the end section 14, it is extended by the wall of

  joining 8 by the grooved line 9. In place of a single section for sections 13, 14, 15, respectively,

  a series of sections may be provided.

  In the embodiment which has just been described, the housing 7 comprises an opening whose transverse dimension H is defined by the corresponding transverse dimensions of the end sections 13 and 14. The longitudinal dimension of the opening of the housing and of the housing 7 itself is defined by the dimension

  cross section of the middle section 15.

  The transverse dimensions of the sections 13, 14, 15 are understood to mean the spacing between the grooved lines 6 and 16,

9 and 17 and, finally 16 and 17.

  All grooved lines considered so far, with the exception of grooved line 11, namely

  lines 6, 9, 12, 16 and 17 are parallel to each other.

  The grooved line 11 is perpendicular to the lines 6, 9,

12, 16, 17.

  In an embodiment not shown, the two walls 4a, 4b are associated with each other by a fold line 12 also perpendicular to the lines 6, 9, 16 and 17. The cutout 1, instead of being arranged entirely in length as in the embodiment shown on the

drawings then form an angle.

  According to other embodiments not shown, the covering wall 5 comprises a single section capable of being curved or else two successive sections capable of

  In the embodiment shown, the opening of the housing 7 has a substantially rectangular shape and the two end sections 13, 14 have substantially the same transverse dimension. But, also within the scope of the invention, the case of a housing opening 7 having a trapezoidal shape in which case one of the end sections 13, 14 has a greater transverse dimension

to the other.

  Optionally, one of the end sections 13, 14 is nonexistent and the opening of the housing has a triangular shape. We understand that the flap (s) 10 have a shape

  corresponding to that of the opening of the housing.

  Preferably, there is provided in the covering wall 5 at least one window 18 making it possible to view the sample 2. In the case of the embodiment shown in the figures, there is provided a single window 18 formed in the median section 15. According to other alternative embodiments not shown, the window 18 may comprise several parts and, possibly, also be provided in one and / or the other of the two sections 13, 14. A window may be provided in the wall

  main 4 next to the packed object.

  As follows from the above, the securing wall 8 and the flap 10 are associated with the covering wall 5. Also in the spirit of the invention is the case where the wall 8 and / or the flap 10 is /are

  associated with the main wall 4.

  In the case of the embodiment of the figures, two identical or substantially identical closure flaps 10 are provided, on either side of the covering wall. As is clearly visible in FIG. 3, the housing 7 has, at one end, a rectangular external shape (before closing the flaps 10) and

  trapezoidal after closing the shutters.

  But, according to other alternative embodiments, the housing 7 can have an axial end, a shape

  triangular or trapezoidal before closing the shutters.

  In these different variants, the dimensions of the flaps 10 are adapted, the two flaps 10 are not necessarily

identical to each other.

  In order to allow the realization of the card-

  packaging 3, the sum of the length of the connection wall 8 - and in particular of the middle section 15 - and of the connection wall 8 is at most equal to the

length of main wall 4.

  According to the invention, the transverse dimension H of a closing flap 10 is of the order of 10 to 20% greater than that corresponding to the opening h of the

housing 7.

  One of the closing flaps 10 preferably has its free edge 19 situated substantially in the extension of a free edge of the main wall 4. it In addition, the covering wall 5, fastening wall 8 and closing flap assembly 10 presented flat has a width (counted parallel to lines 6, 9, 16 and 17) at most equal to that corresponding to the main wall 4.   In the second embodiment shown in Figures 4 to 6, the closure flap or flaps 10 are extended in their free edge 19 by a tongue 23 of the same plane. This tongue 23 is intended to cooperate with a slot 24 made in the second main wall 4b so that when the closing flaps 10 are folded, the locking is secured by blocking the tongue 23 on the peripheral edge 27 of the slot

  In the third embodiment shown in Figures 7 to 9, the tongue 23 is longer than in the second embodiment. This tongue is folded along the line 26 in the direction opposite to the direction of folding of the closure flap (s) 10 and is slid into the slot 24 between the first and second walls.

  Preferably, there is provided on the main wall 4 or on the connection wall 8 a functional indication of the connection zone of the connection wall 8. This indication may result

  of the miter shape given to the joining wall 8.

  In addition, it may advantageously be provided that said securing wall has a device facilitating the opening such as a fracture line or an easily graspable part intended to allow the tearing of the securing wall 8 and the opening of the wall.

  The method for producing a packaging card according to the third embodiment consists in starting with a cut as described and presented flat: folding the second main wall 4b over the first main wall 4a, fold the covering wall 5 over the second main wall, fold the flaps 10 and the tongue 23 associated in accordion, slide the tongues 23 into the slot 24 so that they are interposed between the two main walls, laminate said two main walls, slide the object or objects to be packaged through the open end of the housing 7, and securing the wall of

  joining 8 on the second main wall 4b.

  The method for producing a packaging card according to the fourth embodiment consists in starting with a cut as it has been described and presented flat: folding and laminating the second main wall 4b onto the first main wall 4a , fold the flaps 10 and their associated tongue 23 in accordion, then perform the same operations as for the first embodiment, the flaps 10 being forced until the free edges of the tongues 23 click into place

Cardboard or equivalent cutout intended for the production of a packaging card, comprising several cut walls and connected together by grooved pre-folding lines, namely: - at least one main wall (4) capable of forming the base of the card ; - at least one covering wall (5) associated with the main wall (4) capable of forming, with it, a housing (7) for one or more objects to be packaged (2); and, associated with the main wall (4) or with the covering wall (5), at least one fixing wall (8) able to allow the reciprocal fixing of the main wall (4) and the covering wall (5) ); and - at least one closing flap (10) of the housing (7) of the object or objects (2) considered having, with respect to its fold line (11), a transverse dimension greater than that corresponding to the opening of said housing (7) that it is intended to close so that its flap for closing is forcibly made, said flap (10) being   then locked in the housing (7).   2. Card-packaging according to claim 13, characterized in that the shutter (s) (10) is / are locked by the tab (s) (23) coplanar (s) abutting against part of the edge   peripheral (27) of the slot (24).   15. Packaging card according to claim 13, characterized in that the shutter (s) (10) is / are locked by the tab (s) (23) passed (s) through the slot (24) and interspersed between   the first and second main walls (4a, 4b).   16.
