Abstract

The cut out has first (4) and second (5) walls and a fold line (6) with two lateral sections (11a,11b) that are staggered one from the other and displaced by a fixed distance. A middle section (13) of the fold line is displaced transversely with respect to the lateral sections.A central fold line (15) is included, together with two closing flaps (16,17). On a second wall, two pairs of fold lines (19a,19b,20a,20b) are positioned. These are displaced at the same spacing as those of the lateral and middle sections of the first wall.

Description

CARDBOARD OR EQUZIVALENT CUT

  FOR THE REALIZATION OF A SAMPLE CARD,

  SAMPLE CARD COMPRISING SUCH A CUT

  The invention relates to a cardboard or

  equivalent intended for the realization of a card-

  sample; a sample card comprising a sample enclosed in the housing of a card produced from such a cut; and, finally, a method of

  creation of such a sample card.

  Various embodiments of a sample card are already known, such as that used for

  cosmetic product samples. These cards-

  samples conventionally include several cut walls connected to each other by grooved pre-folding lines, the assembly then being associated by gluing, stapling or any other means of securing so that the sample is trapped in a housing from which it can only be extracted by a voluntary break-in by the user. The problems posed by these sample cards are: the need for low cost as regards both the material used and the production process, the possibility of mechanizing the positioning of the sample on the card in an economical manner; and the

  effective retention of the sample on the card.

  The invention aims to meet these requirements and to this end, it proposes a cardboard or equivalent cutout intended for the production of a sample card, comprising several cut walls and connected to each other by grooved pre-folding lines: - at least a main wall capable of forming the base of the card; - At least one covering wall associated with the main wall capable of forming, with it, a housing for the sample considered; and, associated with the main wall or with the covering wall, - at least one joining wall capable of allowing reciprocal joining of the main wall and the covering wall; and - at least one flap for closing the housing of the sample in question having, relative to its fold line, a transverse dimension greater than that corresponding to the opening of said housing which it is intended to close so that its flap to be closed by force, said flap then being locked

in the accommodation.

  According to other features of the blank according to the invention, it comprises a single or double main wall. The covering wall may comprise a single section or two successive sections or even three successive sections. In the latter case, these are two or two series of end sections capable of defining the transverse dimension of the housing and one or a series of median sections capable of defining the longitudinal dimension. The covering wall may include at least one window. The securing wall and / or the closing flap is / are associated with the covering wall. The cutout may include two identical or substantially identical closure flaps on either side of the covering wall. The transverse dimension of a closing flap is of the order of 10 to% greater than that corresponding to the opening of said housing. In a preferred embodiment, the cutout comprises: - a single or double main wall; - A covering wall in three sections, namely two or two series of end sections, the first of which adjoins the main wall and one or a series of middle sections without or with at least one window; - a joining wall adjoining the second end section; and two adjoining closing flaps

  in the middle section on both sides.

  According to another aspect, the invention relates to a sample card comprising a sample enclosed in the housing of a card produced from a cut as just defined in which the closure flap (s) is or are folded back inside the housing by being locked and preventing or limiting the

sample travel.

  According to other characteristics, a closing flap made with the main wall an angle between 20 and 80 approximately more especially between 20

and 45 approximately.

  To this end, the invention relates to a cutting into

  cardboard or equivalent intended for the production of a card-

  sample comprising a first and a second wall, connected together by a grooved line and on the first wall, adjoining at least these two edges, at least two lateral sections of grooved lines, collinear, spaced from one another by a zone; at least one median section of grooved lines spaced transversely from the lateral sections; at least one pair of cut lines connecting the lateral sections and the middle section; a central grooved line substantially equidistant from the lateral sections and from the median section connecting the two edges and overlapping the cut lines and on the first edge two closing flaps interposed between on the one hand a lateral section and the central line and on the other hand between this center line and the extension of the middle section; and, on the second wall, first and second pairs of grooved lines; the lines of each pair being adjacent to one of the edges, the spacing between the lines of each pair being substantially the same and substantially the same as the spacing between the central grooved line and the sections; the two pairs being offset transversely

one in relation to the other.

  According to another aspect, the invention relates to a sample card. This sample card has as characteristics a sample enclosed in the housing of a card produced from a cut in which the sample is retained at least at its two extreme parts in the first place by the two walls spaced apart in zones o the walls are not joined together and on the other hand by the flaps and on the other hand, by the part of the second wall placed between the two sections of the second pair coming to the right of the housing

spared in the map.

  The invention will be well understood thanks to the

  description which will follow with reference to the accompanying drawings

  in which: - Figure 1 is a schematic view of a flat blank according to the invention; - Figure 2 is a perspective view of a card obtained by volume setting of the blank of Figure 1, the sample being absent; - Figures 3, 4, 5 and 6 are views respectively in front elevation, top, bottom and rear elevation of a sample card according to the invention. The cutout 1 intended for producing a card 2 for a sample 3, in particular a tube 3 having a plug 3a and a bottom 3b, comprises a first and a second main wall 4, 5 respectively capable of forming

the base of the card 2.

  The two walls 4, 5 are associated with each other by

a grooved line 6.

  The two walls 4, 5 come in extension of one another and are delimited by two large parallel edges, namely a first edge 7 and a second edge 8 and two transverse edges 9, 10 for respectively the

wall 4 and wall 5.

  In the embodiment shown, the two walls 4, 5 have a generally rectangular shape. However, others

contours are possible.

  The walls 4, 5 have grooved lines and

  cut lines which are now described.

  We first refer to the first wall 4.

  Adjoining at least the two edges 7 and 8, at least two lateral sections 11a, 11b of grooved lines are provided. The lines of these two sections 11a, 11b are collinear. The two sections 11a, 11b are separated from one another by a zone 12 devoid of grooved lines or

of cuts.

  At least one median section 13 of grooved lines is also provided. The line of the section 13 is spaced transversely from that of the sections 11a, 11b. The section

  median 13 is located opposite zone 12.

  Thus, the sections 11a, 11b and 13 are complementary to each other although offset

  transversely to connect edges 7 and 8.

  This connection is made by means of at least one pair of cut lines 14a, 14b respectively connecting the end of the lateral section 11a to one of the ends of the middle section 13 and the end of the lateral section 11b

  at the other end of the middle section 13.

  Thus, the lateral sections 11a, 11b, the two cut lines 14a, 14b and the middle section 13 define a U-shaped outline whose core is made up the middle section 13, whose wings are formed by the lines 14a, 14b, the wings being folded outwards

  being constituted by the sections 11a, 11b.

  A central grooved line is also provided placed astride this U, connecting the edges 7 and 8 while being placed between the sections 11a, 11b on the one hand and 13 on the other hand being spaced transversely from each of them . The central grooved line 15 therefore overlaps the

cut lines 14a, 14b.

  The sections 11a, 11b, 13 and the line 15 are mutually parallel as well as to the grooved line 6. The cut lines 14a, 14b are perpendicular to the lines

6, lia, llb, 13 and 15.

  Line 15 is grooved so as to allow folding in two opposite directions opposite on the one hand

  of the central part of the U previously defined, that is to say

  say between the two sections lia, llb and on the other hand outside the U that is to say opposite the two sections

lia and llb.

  As can be seen in FIG. 1, the central grooved line 15 is placed substantially equidistant from the line of the sections 11a, 11b and the

middle section line 13.

  Furthermore, a section 11a adjoining the first edge 7 has a length substantially equal to or less than that of the section 11b adjoining the second edge 8. Between the lines of the sections 11a and 11b and the transverse edge 9, there is an appropriate wall length 4 to allow inscriptions, decoration, etc. Similarly, there is a certain wall length 4

  between the middle section 13 and the grooved line 6.

  Given the above structure, the grooved line 15 itself comprises three sections respectively 15a, 15b and 15c opposite the sections 11a,

llb and 13.

  Adjoining the first edge 7, there are also provided closing flaps, namely a first flap 16 and a second flap 17. The first flap 16 is interposed between the lateral section 11a and the section 15a and the second flap 17 interposed between the section 15a and the extension to

edge 7 of section 7.

  The first part 16 has a generally triangular shape. Part 17 has two parts respectively

17a and 17b.

  Part 17a is adjacent to the first edge 7 and has a generally parallelepiped shape. Part 17b adjoins part 17a on the edge opposite the first

  edge 7 and has a generally rectangular shape.

  The two flaps 16, 17 have substantially one side

  common 18 in the form of a cut line.

  We now refer to the second wall 5.

  On this wall are provided a first and a second pair of sections of grooved lines

  19a, 19b and 20a, 20b respectively.

  The grooved lines of the pairs 19a, 19b, 20a, 20b are parallel to each other as are the grooved lines of the first wall already mentioned and to the grooved line

6 connecting the two walls 4, 5.

  The first pair of grooved lines 19a, 19b adjoins the first edge 7 without reaching the second edge 8

from which they are excluded.

  Conversely, the lines of the second pair 20a, b are adjacent to the second edge 8 without reaching the

  first edge 7 from which they are separated.

  The lines of the first pair 19a, 19b are spaced apart transversely by a distance equal or substantially equal to those separating the lines of the

second pair 20a, 20b.

  This distance is the same or substantially the same as that which separates the central grooved line 15 from the

sections 11, llb and 13.

  Furthermore, the line of the section 19a closest to the grooved line 6 is placed substantially at the same distance as that separating this same grooved line.

  The two pairs 19a, 19b, 20a, 20b are offset transversely with respect to each other. In this case, the pair 19a, 19b is closer to the line 6 than the pair 20a, 20b thus, the line 20a is placed substantially at equal distance between the lines 19a and 19b while the line 19b is placed substantially at equal

  distance between lines 20a and 20b.

  The sections of the first pair 19a, 19b are substantially longer than those of the second pair 20a, b. In this case, the sections of the first pair 19a, 19b are placed facing the sections 11a and 15a, 13 and 15c and up to a certain height of the sections 11b and b. Conversely, the sections of the second pair 20a, b are placed opposite the complementary height of the

sections llb and 15b.

  A cut line 21 parallel to the cut lines 14a, 14b connects the ends of the sections

  more distant, namely lines 19a and 20b.

  There is also provided adjacent to the first edge 7 of the wall 5 a flap 22 interposed between the two lines of the first pair 19a, 19b. This flap 22 has a shape

general trapezoid.

  We now refer more specifically to

  Figures 2 to 6 which illustrate Map 2.

  In the card 2 produced from the blank 1, the two walls 4, 5 are folded against each other by pivoting around the line 6. In this situation, the

  median section 13 coincides with line 19a.

  The grooved line 15 comes on its side in coincidence with

the section 19b.

  The sections 11a, 11b are placed opposite the remaining part 23 of the second wall placed between the

lines 19b, 20b and edge 10.

  The line section 20a is placed substantially at equal distance between the section 15b and the extension towards

the edge 8 of the section 13.

  it The section 20b is placed between the sections llb and b. The cut line 21 then overlaps the

  section 15b by being placed between line 14b and edge 8.

  The two walls 4, 5 are secured to each other by their two faces in contact by bonding or equivalent with the exception of zones 24 and 25 of the first and

second walls 4, 5.

  The zone 24 of the first wall 4 comprises a first part 24a and a second part 24b. The part 24a is adjacent to the first edge 7 and limited by this edge 7, the section 11a, the line 14a is the extension of the

section 13 towards the first edge 7.

  The second part 24b is adjacent to the second edge 8 and is limited by this second edge 8, the section llb, the line 14b is the extension of the section 13 towards the second edge 8 with the exception of a zone placed opposite a zone 26 of the second wall bounded by the second edge 8, the section 20a, the cut line 21 and the extension of the

section 19a towards the edge 8.

  The zone 25 of the second wall also comprises two parts 25a, 25b respectively adjoining the first

and at the second edge 7, 8.

  These areas 25a, 25b are defined by coincidence with the corresponding areas 24a, 24b of the first part.

  When the card 2 is put into volume, the two walls 4, 5 are placed with regard to their part adjoining the edges 9 and 10 on the one hand and the grooved line 6 on the other hand in two parallel planes separated transversely from each other. The arrangement of the grooved lines and cut lines previously described leads to a deformation of the deformable parallelogram type. The U-shaped part previously described therefore curves between them to

  form a housing for the sample 3.

  Since the two walls 4 and 5 have not been joined in the zones 24, 25, these separate so as to form two peripheral edges

  maintaining the sample 3 at these two extreme parts.

  Given the transverse offset between the two pairs of grooved lines 19a, 19b, 20a, 20b, the part of the second wall 5 placed between the lines 20a, 20b of the second pair comes to the right of the hollow produced in the U by preventing the sample in it

to escape from the map.

  On the side of the first edge 7, the flaps 16, 17 and 22 can be folded to avoid any untimely exit of the sample 3. The parallelepiped shape given to the flap 17 defines the shape of the section of the housing thus

consisting of card 2.

  The height of the sections 11a and 15a determines the dimension of the panel 24a. This panel must be large enough to firstly retain the sample 3 in its bottom part 3a, and secondly, to give rigidity

  sufficient to avoid a tear at the extension of the line 13 towards the edge 7. The height of the sections llb and 15b determines the dimensions of the panel 24b. The height of the sections 20a and 20b determines with respect to the section llb and 15b the depth of the device

  maintaining part 3b of the sample.

Claims (4)

CLAIMS ON R E V E M D 1 C A T I O N 8   1. Cardboard or equivalent cutout intended for the production of a sample card comprising a first and a second wall 4, 5 connected together by a grooved line 6 and on the first wall 4, adjoining at least these two edges 7, 8 at least two lateral sections 11a, 11b of grooved, collinear lines spaced from one another by a zone; at least one middle section 13 of grooved lines spaced transversely from the side sections 11a, 11b; at least one pair of cut lines 14a, 14b connecting the lateral sections 11a, 11b and the middle section 13; a central grooved line 15 substantially equidistant from the lateral sections 11a, 11b and the middle section 13 connecting the two edges 7, 8 and overlapping the cut lines 14a, 14b; and on the first edge 7 two closing flaps, 16, 17 interposed between on the one hand a lateral section 11a and the central line 15 and on the other hand between this central line 15 and the extension of the median section 13; and, on the second wall, first and second pairs 19a, 19b, a, 20b of grooved lines; the lines of each pair being contiguous to one of the edges 7, 8, the spacing between the lines of each pair 19a, 19b, 20a, 20b being substantially the same and substantially the same as the spacing between the central grooved line 15 and the sections 11a, 11b and 13; the two pairs 19a, 19b and 20a and 20b being offset transversely with respect to each other. 2. Cutout according to claim 1, characterized in that the grooved lines of the pair 19a, 19b have a length substantially greater than that of the second pair 20a, 20b.   3. Cutout according to any one of   Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the   length of the sections of the second pair 20a, 20b is shorter than that of the sections llb and 15b. 4. Sample card comprising a sample 3 enclosed in the housing of a card 2 produced from   of a blank according to any one of claims 1 to   3, in which the sample 3 is retained at least at its two end parts in the first place by the two walls 4, 5, separated in zones 24, 25 where the walls are not secured to each other and on the other hand by the flaps 16, 17 and 22 and on the other hand, by the part of the second wall 5 placed between the two sections of the second pair   a, 20b coming to the right of the housing provided in the card.
