    Claims (5)

    1. A precut and turned-over blank made of a semirigid material, such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard, for forming a packaging, said blank comprising:
      a series of five rectangular panels of the same length and articulated to one another along their longitudinal edges by first parallel turned-over portions, i.e. a first central panel (1), two second panels (2) of the same dimensions, articulated to said first panel and intended to be aligned perpendicularly to the latter and two third panels (3) of a width substantially equal to half that of the first panel (1), which are articulated to the second panels (2) and intended to be aligned perpendicularly to the latter so as to be brought into a position parallel to the first panel (1);
      at the ends of the first, second and third panels (1-3) flaps (4,5,6) articulated thereon by second turned-over portions perpendicular to the first turned-over portions, said flaps (4,5,6) being intended to be aligned perpendicularly to the adjoining panels (1,2,3) so as to form flaps which at least partly cover the adjacent flaps;
      a film (7) of heat-shrinkable plastics material adhered against at least some of said panels (1-3) and said flaps (4-6), said film (7) being intended to cover the articles resting on the first panel (1) before undergoing a shrinking stage before the packaging is erected;
         said blank being characterised in that the heat-shrinkable film (7) is rigidly attached by gluing to the assembly of the first panel (1) and one part (9) of the flaps (7) adjoining the latter, said part (9) being in the shape of an isosceles trapezium or of an isosceles triangle whose largest base is formed by the second turned-over portion by which said flaps (7) are articulated to the first panel (1), the heat-shrinkable film (7) moreover being glued detachably by spots of glue (10) to the third panels (3) and to the flaps (5,6) adjoining said third panels (3) and, optionally, the second panels (2) in the vicinity of the free edges thereof.
    2. A precut and turned-over blank made of a semirigid material, such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard, for forming a packaging, said blank comprising:
      a series of five rectangular panels of the same length and articulated to one another along their longitudinal edges by first parallel turned-over portions, i.e. a first central panel (1'), two second panels (2') of the same dimensions, articulated to said first panel and intended to be aligned perpendicularly to the latter and three third panels (3') of a width substantially equal to half that of the first panel (1'), which are articulated to the second panels (2') and intended to be aligned perpendicularly to the latter so as to be brought into a position parallel to the first panel (1');
      at the ends of the first and second panels (1',2') flaps (4',5') articulated thereon by second turned-over portions perpendicular to the first turned-over portions, said flaps (4',5') being intended to be aligned perpendicularly to the adjoining panels (1',2') so as to form flaps which at least partly cover the adjacent flaps;
         each third panel (3') is connected to the flaps (5') associated with the adjacent second panel (2') by a gusset in two parts (13',14'), one part (13') being articulated to the third panel (3') by a turned-over portion disposed in extension of the corresponding second turned-over portions, whereas the other part (14') is articulated to the flap (5') adjoining the second panel (2') with a turned-over portion disposed in extension of the corresponding first turned-over portion, the two parts (13',14') of the gusset being articulated to one another by a turned-over portion forming an angle of 45° with the former, said two parts (13'14') being intended to come into mutual contact in the erected packaging,
      a film (7') of heat-shrinkable plastics material adhered against at least some of said panels (1'-3') and said flaps (4'-6'), said film (7') being intended to cover the articles resting on the first panel (1') before undergoing a shrinking stage before the packaging is erected;
         said blank being characterised in that the heat-shrinkable film (7') is rigidly attached by gluing to the assembly of the first panel (1') and one part (9') of the flaps (7') adjoining the latter, said part (9') being in the shape of an isosceles trapezium or of an isosceles triangle whose largest base is formed by the second turned-over portion by which said flaps (7') are articulated to the first panel (1'), the heat-shrinkable film (7') moreover being glued detachably by spots of glue (10') to the third panels (3') and adjoining said third panels (3') and, optionally, to the second panels (2') in the vicinity of the free edges thereof.
    3. A blank according to either one of claims 1 and 2, characterised in that precutting lines are provided between the corresponding parts of the panels (1-3,1'-3') and the flaps (4,5,5') and/or gussets (13',14'), to which it is not attached or to which it is adhered in a detachable manner.
    4. A blank according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that a cutout (11,11') is provided in at least one of the panels (3,3'), whereas strips of glue (12,12') disposed laterally on either side of this cutout (11,11') and extending up to the adjacent panel (1,1') join together the panel (3,3') and the thermoplastic film, thereby forming opposite the opening (11,11') a pocket in which a document can be introduced which is visible from the outside.
    5. A packaging formed from a blank according to any one of claims 1 to 4 and containing articles held in position on the first panel (1,1') by the heat-shrinkable film (7,7').
