Abstract

Le joint tripode comporte une partie extérieure (20), avec trois évidements allongés axiaux présentant des pistes (21) opposées dans la direction périphérique, une partie intérieure (1), avec trois tenons radiaux (4), qui s'engagent dans les évidements et portent des ensembles à galets (2) avec des porte-galets (6) et des éléments de galets (8). Ces derniers roulent en direction axiale sur les pistes (21) dans les évidements et chaque porte-galets (6) est guidé sur un tenon (4) en pouvant basculer et se déplacer le long de l'axe du tenon, et chaque élément de galet (8) est monté en rotation sur le porte-galets (6). L'ensemble à galets (2) s'appuie contre la partie extérieure de joint (20) à l'encontre d'un basculement autour de l'axe longitudinal de la partie intérieure de joint (1). Des moyens coopèrent avec la partie intérieure de joint (1) pour réaliser une résistance à blocage de forme à l'encontre d'un démontage axial d'un ensemble à galets (2) par rapport au tenon (4).
