Description
PROCEDE DE FABRICATION D'OBJETS DECORATIFS EN PIERRE
NOTAMMENT POUR LE BATIMENT ET LE DOMAINE FUNERAIRE, ET
OBJETS DECORATIFS REALISES
Elle s'étend aux objets décoratifs réalisés.PROCESS FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF STONE DECORATIVE OBJECTS
ESPECIALLY FOR BUILDINGS AND FUNERAL AREAS, AND
DECORATIVE OBJECTS MADE
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing decorative stone objects, in particular for the building and the funeral sector. It extends to decorative objects produced.
At present, the decoration patterns made in the building or in the funeral sector are semi-relief patterns obtained by knocking down the walls on which said patterns must be made. The disadvantages of such a technique reside, on the one hand in its cost, because it requires a skilled workforce and, on the other hand, in the fact that the grounds are a part of the monuments and must be produced at the same time time as these.
The present invention proposes to overcome these drawbacks and has the main objective of providing a method of manufacturing decorative objects, on the one hand, which can be added to an existing monument or building and, on the other hand, the price of which cost is minimized.
To this end, the invention relates to a method for manufacturing decorative stone objects, in particular for the building and the funeral sector, characterized in that
- a cylindrical block of stone is selected, consisting of a fall from the manufacture of a hollow object, such as a vase,
- said cylindrical block is cut so as to bring it back to dimensions combined with those of the object to be produced,
one of the faces of the cylindrical block of a blind hole is drilled, and a rod of length adapted to present a section extending in the extension of said block is secured inside said blind hole,
- And we proceed to the sandblasting of the cylindrical block by maintaining it by means of the aforementioned stem section, with a view to shaping on the faces of said block, a relief corresponding to the relief of a chosen model, such as a flower model.
This process therefore makes it possible to produce decorative objects which can be used as wall lights which can be attached to monuments or buildings. In addition, these decorative objects are made from scraps of material which are currently unexploited, and whose cost is therefore zero.
Furthermore, the decorative objects are designed so that the rod of each block allows, on the one hand, to ensure the maintenance of said block during its sandblasting thus allowing the shaping of its entire periphery, and on the other hand , to anchor said block subsequently to a building or monument wall.
According to a preferred mode of implementation:
- a stone plate is selected which is thin compared to its other dimensions, and with planar dimensions greater than those of a preselected pattern to be produced, and said plate is cut according to the outline of the pattern by means of a saw ribbon,
- the plate is pierced with at least one through hole,
- one of the faces of the plate is sandblasted in order to shape on said face a relief corresponding to the relief of a chosen model, such as a foliage model,
- the rod of a block is introduced into each orifice of the plate, so as to bring said block into contact with the shaped face of said plate,
- And we secure each block on the plate.
This embodiment makes it possible to produce richer decorative objects without departing from the basic principle of the invention which consists in using only scraps of material currently unexploited.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the faces formed by sanding each cylindrical block and the plate are varnished.
The purpose of this varnishing is to bring out the initial colors of each stone which are tarnished during sanding. In addition, the layer of varnish provides protection against the weather, especially when the material is marble.
Furthermore, according to another characteristic of the invention, prior to the sanding operations of the plate and the block
the surfaces to be sanded are heated so as to bring them to a temperature substantially between 250 ° C. and 350 ° C.,
a liquid adhesive, such as a neoprene adhesive, is applied to said faces,
- a sandblasting stencil consisting of a material having extensible qualities, provided with a self-adhesive face, is glued on said faces,
- And we proceed to the partial cutting of the stencil according to the relief to be shaped on said faces.
This technique makes it possible to apply the stencil on the faces to be sanded so that this stencil perfectly matches the surface of these faces, despite the poor surface condition of said faces which are not polished and are even often damaged due to the fact that scraps of material are used.
The invention extends to a decorative stone object in particular for the building or the funeral estate comprising a block of generally cylindrical shape comprising a peripheral face and an upper face having a relief capable of giving said block the shape of a chosen model. , such as a flower model, said block being provided with a rod partially housed in a blind hole formed in its lower face so as to extend in the extension of said lower face.
In addition, according to a preferred embodiment, this decorative object comprises
a stone plate of small thickness compared to its other dimensions, said plate comprising a face having a relief corresponding to the relief of a chosen model such as a foliage model, and being pierced with at least one through orifice,
- And, for each orifice of the plate, a block as described above, fixed on the shaped face of said plate, so that the rod extends through said orifice.
Other features and advantages of the invention will emerge from the detailed description which follows with reference to the accompanying drawings which show, by way of non-limiting example, a preferred embodiment. In these drawings, which form an integral part of the present description
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a decorative object according to the invention,
- Figure 2 is a longitudinal section through a plane A of this decorative object.
The decorative object shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is made up exclusively of falling material, namely, in the example starting from a block 1 of generally cylindrical shape corresponding to a carrot, for example marble, from the manufacture of a vase, and on the other hand, a drop 2 of plate, for example of granite.
Firstly, the block 1 has an upper face a and peripheral faces 1b shaped by sanding so as to have the shape of a flower.
This block 1 also has an underside îc ground so as to be substantially flat.
Cette face inférieure îc est, en outre, percée axialement d'un trou borgne 3.This lower face is also pierced axially with a blind hole 3.
This block 1 finally comprises a bronze rod 4 partially housed in the blind hole 3, so as to extend in the extension of the lower face 1c, and glued inside this blind hole 3.
This bronze rod 4, on the one hand, ensures the maintenance of the block 1 during sanding operations, and on the other hand, serves as an anchoring element for the decorative object.
The plate 2 has, in turn, a predetermined contour obtained by sawing with a band saw a scrap of material such as marble. This plate 2 has an upper face 2a shaped by sanding so as to have the shape of a foliage around a central zone 2b adapted to serve as a seat for the block 1.
This plate 2 has, in addition, a lower face 2c ground so as to be substantially flat over its largest surface and to present a rounded peripheral portion.
This plate 2 finally has a central through hole 5.
The decorative object consisting of this block 1 and this plate 2 is obtained by bonding said block to said plate, after having placed block 1 in the central zone 2b of plate 2, so that the bronze rod 4 s' extends through hole 5.
