Abstract
Bei einem erfindungsgemäßem Verfahren zur Herstellung von Figuren (1,101) wird zur Herstellung jeder Figur ein Roboter verwendet, durch welchen folgende Verfahrensschritte automatisch ausgeführt werden: Auswahl eines Steins (3,103) entsprechend der gewünschten Gestalt der herzustellenden Figur (1,101) als deren Hauptkorpus, und Grob-Formgestaltung durch Anordnen von Beschlägen (4,5,6,7,8,104-109) am Hauptkorpus (3,103) als Extremitäten. Bevorzugt wird durch den Roboter zusätzlich eine Detail-Formgestaltung durch Anordnen von Hilfsmitteln (25,27) sowie eine Farbgestaltung ausgeführt. Der Stein wird bevorzugt ausgewählt wie folgt: eine Mehrzahl von Steinen wird mittels eines Abtastsystems dreidimensional abgetastet; die Ergebnisse der Abtastungen werden als dreidimensionale Ist-Datensätze gespeichert, wobei jeder Ist-Datensatz genau einem Stein zugeordnet ist und Informationen über die Form wenigstens eines Teils der Oberfläche dieses Steins enthält; die Datensätze werden mit einem vorgegebenen dreidimensionalen Muster-Datensatz, welcher einer vorgegebenen Sollform entspricht, verglichen. Anhand dieser Vergleiche wird einer der Ist-Datensätze ausgewählt; der zu diesem gehörende Stein wird durch den Roboter ausgewählt. The stone is preferably selected as follows: a plurality of stones are scanned three-dimensionally by means of a scanning system; the results of the scans are stored as three-dimensional actual datasets, each actual dataset being associated with exactly one stone and containing information about the shape of at least part of the surface of that stone; the data records are compared with a predetermined three-dimensional pattern data record which corresponds to a predetermined desired form. Based on these comparisons, one of the actual data sets is selected; the stone belonging to it is selected by the robot.
