Abstract

Method of rapidly erecting a construction for use as a dwelling, which is economic and of high performance. The method makes it possible to marry the properties of two materials (cellular concrete (2) and wood (1)) in order to obtain a "permanent" structure by prefabrication. It consists in producing a vertical framework of wood (1) (Class 4 treated), incorporating, "in advance", uprights in the thickness of the reinforced slabs of cellular concrete (2) and in tying the whole by means of a system of metal pins (3) and tie-bars and of wooden ties. The method enables constructions to be made which are adapted to the regions in which the wooden structures are traditionally to be seen.

Description

The invention relates to the construction of buildings for residential or professional use. It is made up of a rapid assembly process by combining two materials and a bonding system (reinforced slabs of cellular concrete / wood, metal links. Construction by this process is economical and efficient given the speed of implementation and the properties of the assembly thus produced. In comparison, the realization of a conventional wooden frame is more expensive due to the incidence of labor required by the nature of the assemblies necessary for the cohesion of the construction (the lining practically not participating in the bracing)
In addition, the use of aerated concrete slabs requires either a metal frame making this technique unsuitable for constructions for residential use for aesthetic reasons or a traditional system of horizontal and vertical chaining (longer, heavier technique In addition, the use of relatively thin slabs makes it impossible to produce barriers intended to avoid thermal bridges (chaining requiring a minimum size).

The innovative character of the invention lies in the possibility of constructing buildings with a traditional appearance at a lower cost and much more quickly, by combining the advantages of a solid construction, those of a wooden frame and those linked to the use of prefabricated elements eliminating "idle time" (construction being done "continuously")
The principle consists in integrating wooden uprights (ex: treated Landes pine class 4) between carrier reinforced cellular concrete slabs and in connecting the whole by galvanized steel elements.

The section of the wooden uprights is determined by the thickness of the aerated concrete slabs (10, 12, 15, 20 cm), that of the purlins and that of any lining of thermal insulation inside. These uprights are interposed at the beginning of the construction, they run from the foundation to the frame. Their spacing can be I, 2, 3, slab widths depending on the position of the purlins (dictated by the span of the roof rafters) and the desired external appearance.

The connection between aerated concrete slabs and wooden uprights is ensured by galvanized pins and threaded rods. Sliding (longitudinal and transverse) upright slabs are made impossible. The angles, made up of wooden posts, are identically integrated.

The number of pins varies according to the height of the upright: on one side, they are driven into the cellular concrete through the pre-drilled upright, on the other in the upright, the protruding heads are housed in the groove of the BC slab and are embedded in a bed of glue. (fig 1). All the walls are fitted, after tightening, with galvanized steel tie rods (rod / strip) horizontal and oblique On gable walls A variant of connection- consists when the configuration allows it to use a rod crossing the entire slabs and pre-drilled uprights. (fig 2)
The wooden uprights fully transmit the roofing loads to the foundations since they support purlins or other structural elements. The risk of buckling of these amounts is eliminated by their location between slabs. It is this arrangement which makes it possible to reduce the thickness of these vertical elements.

The interactions of the two constituents of the walls give them a rigidity, which is mainly advantageous in the case of gable walls where one can superimpose two slabs glued together and fixed to the uprights. 10 category sealant cords (polyurethane or acrylic).

The amounts of wood have a rebate or a wide groove in the case of an interior flnition. An alternative is to use a system of treated wood class 4 joint glued with polyurethane putty and nailed which adds a second seal. of wood allow a finish in the form of "half-timbering" in many regions (Landes, Basque Country, Gascogne,
Normandy, Alsace, etc.)
By this process, the relative mass of the construction is considerably reduced (simplified framework, low density of cellular concrete: close to 0.4, replacement of concrete chaining or metal frameworks by wooden chauages linked to the vertical grid As a result, the foundations are smaller and therefore more economical, eg for walls 15 cm thick with an average height of between 3 and 4 m - below G + Q p (floor) = 0.04 M Pa
This mounting system gives relative elasticity to the structure, which, thanks to this property is capable of absorbing certain ground movements.
