Abstract

Device for ensuring stability of monuments known as "granted" monuments. The invention relates to a device making it possible to ensure the stability of the granted monuments and allowing the risks of the monuments falling onto neighbouring monuments to be eliminated. It is made up of a reinforced concrete frame, including, in its lower part, a plane bearing surface (1). Its upper part, divided into two, includes on the inner side of the frame, a rebate (2) and, on the outer side, a wear coating (3) slightly inclined, including slightly rounded corners. The inside of the device leaves visible four flanges (4) which are intended for the fitting of handling straps without prior wedging. The device according to the invention is particularly intended to ensure the stability of funeral monuments known as "granted" monuments.

Description

CONCESSION SOLE
The present invention relates to a prefabricated device in reinforced and vibrated concrete to ensure the stability of so-called "concession" funerary monuments.

 These monuments are traditionally placed on the ground over two concrete rafters perpendicular to the length of the monument. As a result of settlement, the monument often tilts which sometimes overturns, causing damage to neighboring monuments.

The device according to the invention eliminates all these drawbacks. According to a first characteristic, it has in its lower part a flat bearing surface which covers the external dimensions of the conceded land
The device comprises, according to a second characteristic, a hollowed-out part, which gives the invention the appearance of a rectangular frame pre-fabricated in one piece.

 The upper inner side of the frame is characterized by a rebate intended to receive the monument. The visible surface called the wear screed surrounding the rebate is smooth and slightly inclined towards the outside, and has rounded projecting angles. According to particular embodiments, the wear screed can be made with other materials such as: colored cement, polished terrazzo, rolled gravel, or washed crushed marble.

 The four visible flanges in the recessed part of the device, welded to the frame and embedded in the mass, are intended for the installation of handling straps, without prior setting.

 With reference to these drawings, the device comprises in its lower part a flat support surface (1) and in its upper part a rebate (2) surrounded by a smooth surface (3) slightly inclined towards the outside and ending in slightly rounded salient angles.

 In its embodiment the device comprises, inside the hollowed out surface four flanges t4) welded to the frame and embedded in the mass, intended for the Russian r in place of the handling straps.
