Abstract

The space (L) which must legally be left between two adjacent graves is 40 cms. This space is covered by a slab (5) which rests on two shoulders (4) running along the side edges of the graves (3). The width of the shoulders is approximately equal to half the distance (L) which must be left between the two graves. The width of the covering slab, including the shoulder sections, is equal to the external width of the grave. A shoulder may also be provided at one end of the grave.
