- un verrou ,coopérant avec la gâche du moyeu pour assembler en position embrayée le tourillon au moyeu ,constitué soit par une partie du flanc du tourillon formant un pêne maintenu normalement en position débrayée par l'effet mémoire de la matière le constituant (par exemple matière plastique) soit par un insert mobile ,maintenu normalement en position débrayée soit par une lame-ressort associée au moyeu soit par un anneau mobile remboîté sur le tourillon
L'assemblage du tourillon au moyeu s'effectue soit à l'aide d'un jonc élastique et/ou d'une collerette soit à l'aide d'un couvercle remboîté ,collé ,soudé ... sur le tourillon
