Abstract

The invention relates to a roller shutter casing in the form of a section of "U"-shaped cross-section forming a case and enclosing a shaft for rolling and unrolling a shutter which is mounted in rotation, at its ends, in bearings securely fixed to removable end plates which are inserted by means of sliding into "U"-shaped cut-outs formed in the front edge of supporting lateral cheek plates fixed inside the said section of "U"-shaped cross-section. This roller shutter casing is characterised in that it includes strengthening means (31), on the one hand, to reinforce the front edge (15) corresponding to the supporting lateral cheek plates (13) and in which the "U"-shaped cut-out receiving a removable end plate (12) is made and, on the other hand, to ensure that the latter is held in this "U"-shaped cut-out in particular when the cover, which is designed to close the said "U"-shaped section (2) via its front face, has been removed.

5. Roller shutter box according to claim 2, characterized in that the spacer (32) in the form of a gutter open laterally is held engaged on the front edge (15) of a lateral cheek support (13) by the intermediate fixing means (38) coming to cooperate with this lateral cheek support (13).
