Abstract

The subject of the invention is a wiper for a dipstick used for checking the level of lubricant in the sump of motor vehicle engines. The originality of the invention resides in the arrangement of two bodies of spongy material, which are inert to hydrocarbons, in a casing which is open at its top, into which it is sufficient to introduce the dipstick soiled with oil, and pull it towards oneself in order for it to be clean.
