Abstract

The invention relates to devices for tensioning the arms which support the fabric of blinds, of the type comprising in particular a connection arm (7) which is joined via one of its ends, by way of a hinge pin (8), to a support (1) for securing to the wall, and, via the other end, to the supporting arm (9), and a flexible element (5) joined, via one of its ends, to a spring (11) intended to maintain the tensioning of the said supporting arm, and, via the other end, to the abovementioned securing support. According to the invention, the surface of the guide groove (6) on which the flexible element (5) bears is situated, in the rest position, at a minimum distance from the hinge pin (8) of the supporting arm (9) of the blind and moves away gradually from the said pin as the said arm pivots under the action of the rolling of the fabric of the blind, the torque resulting from the action of the spring thus passing from a minimum value, virtually zero, to a maximum value.
