Abstract

The invention concerns a collapsible box pallet comprising a packaging body (C) in the form of a right prism of octagonal cross-section and a base (F) integral with said body so as to close off one end, and a handling pallet. The base (F) comprises two first sections (9, 10) each contiguous, on the one hand, along a folding line, with the base of two parallel walls (IV-VIII) of the packaging body arranged symmetrically about the plane of symmetry and, on the other hand, by means of a triangular tongue (16, 17) hinged along a folding line to said first sections, with the base of the two adjacent walls (III, V, VII, I) of each of said parallel walls. The triangular tongue (16, 17) itself is hinged along a folding line to said adjacent walls and, in the assembled position of the packaging body, rests against the adjacent section, perpendicular to the walls of said body, and projects beyond the latter. The remaining walls (II, VI) perpendicular to the plane of symmetry are divided according to this plane by a folding line parallel to the edges of the body (C) and are prolonged in the same plane along the whole length of said second sections.

  The present invention relates to a variant of the foldable packaging of the pallet box type, comprising a container in the form of a straight prism with octagonal section, with plane of symmetry, in accordance with the main patent. It will be recalled that this pallet box comprises: - a packaging body in the form of a straight prism with an octagonal section having a plane of symmetry, the edges of which are formed by fold lines and two of the walls of which are parallel to this plane of symmetry; - And a bottom secured, on the one hand, to this packaging body, so as to close it at one end, and, on the other hand, to a handling pallet, which may be in one piece or consisting of two half-pallets arranged symmetrically with respect to the plane of symmetry

of the packaging body.

  The purpose of this addition is to propose a simpler and more resistant variant of the pallet box according to

  claim I of the main patent.

  In this variant, the packaging body remains unchanged and the bottom always comprises two first adjoining flaps each, on the one hand, by a fold line, at the base of two parallel walls of the packaging body arranged symmetrically with respect to the plane of symmetry, on the other hand, by means of a triangular tongue articulated by a fold line on said first flaps, at the base of the two adjacent walls each of said parallel walls, said triangular tongue being itself articulated by a fold line on said adjacent walls and being such that, in the mounted position of the packaging body, it is applied against the adjoining flap, perpendicular to the walls of said body, projecting from the outside

Packaging according to claim 1, characterized in that the bottom part and the packaging body constitute two distinct elements, the bottom part comprising a low-walled imitation body (1-8), which are fixed on the corresponding walls   (I-VIII) of the packaging body itself.
