Abstract

A prefabricated panel comprising principally a vertical timber sheet 5 which is held between a bottom rail 3 and top rail 16 which spread the vertical loads onto vertical beams 7 which are positioned in staggered fashion on either side of the said timber sheet. Thermal insulation is placed between the vertical beams 7.

The invention relates to a prefabricated wooden frame panel for a house wall, comprising insulation elements, air knives, the two sides of which are traditionally dressed.

 Prefabricated panels for the exterior wall of a house are already known, which are very heavy which does not allow significant lengths. Also the side of a wall is made up of several assembled panels, with regular grid which causes between each panel heat losses.

 The object of the present invention is to remedy this drawback in that it relates to a relatively light panel allowing one side of the house to be obtained in one piece.

 As characterized in the claims, the invention solves the problems of known panels and mainly comprises a central wooden blade positioned on the vertical plane, which wooden blade is full and rigid of small thickness taking up the bracing forces, which wooden blade is taken between a low rail and a high rail which distribute the vertical loads on vertical beams which are positioned in staggered rows on either side of said wooden blade.

 Between the vertical beams are placed thermal insulators which form an empty space on either side of the wooden strip, and between the thermal insulator and the outer covering is a ventilated air layer.

 The invention is set out below in more detail with the aid of drawings representing only one embodiment, by way of example.

 Figure 1 shows a horizontal section of a panel constituting a house wall, seen from above.

 FIG. 2 represents, in elevation, a vertical section of a panel along the axis AA shown in FIG. 1.

 FIG. 3 represents a horizontal section of an exterior wall panel associated with a cross wall.

 Figure 4 shows, on another scale, a horizontal section of the junction of two exterior wall panels at an angle.

 FIG. 5 shows briefly, in perspective, the wooden structure of a panel.

 The figures represent a prefabricated panel comprising a wooden structure which usually rests on a concrete slab 1 which structure encloses thermal insulation elements and carries an exterior and interior covering.

 The wooden structure consists of a first longitudinal bottom rail 3 whose width is equal to the thickness of the panel, which bottom rail 3 has a groove 4 over its entire length in which is placed a vertical wooden blade 5 which divides the panel substantially in two equal parts and plays the role of central bracing.

 On either side of the wooden blade 5, on the first low beam 3, is positioned a second row of low beams 6 on which are placed staggered vertical beams 7-which are held in the upper part in the same way than the lower part with high rails 11 separated by the wooden blade 5 and superimposed on a rail 16.

The elements of the wooden structure are joined together by all the usual known means such as pointing, screwing, metal connectors, etc.
Between the vertical beams 7 are placed thermal insulators 8 which form on either side of the wooden strip 5 a static vacuum 9.

 The thermal insulators 8 are covered, on their face opposite to the wooden strip 5, by a vapor barrier film 10.

 The outer side of the panel then receives battens 12 appropriately to allow the nailing of a mesh 13 to receive a finish of sprayed plaster 14.

 An air space 15 ventilated at the bottom and possibly at the top is formed by the thickness of the battens 12, over the entire length of the panel, between the insulation 8 and the outer covering.

 The inner side of the panel is preferably clad with drywall 17, which is fixed by means of screws on the vertical beams 7 and on the low and high rails.

 In prefabrication, the joinery is incorporated into the panels according to the usual techniques.

 The panels which are the subject of the invention are designed more particularly for the construction of individual houses.

Claims (8)

1) Prefabricated wooden frame panel for a house wall, characterized in that it comprises a bottom rail (3) which has a groove (4) over its entire length, in which groove rests a vertical wooden strip (5) which divides the panel into two parts, and on either side of said wooden strip (5) is placed a second low beam (6) on which are positioned vertical beams connected in the upper part identically to the lower part with high beams (11) and (16) superimposed, between which beams (7) are housed thermal insulators. 2) Prefabricated panel according to claim 1, characterized in that the wooden strip (5) is taken between a low rail (3) and a high rail (16). 3) Prefabricated panel according to claim 1, characterized in that the vertical beams (7) are positioned in staggered rows on either side of the wooden strip (5). 4) Prefabricated panel according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the thermal insulators are placed in such a way that they form a static vacuum (9) on either side of the wooden strip (5). 5) Prefabricated panel according to claim 1, characterized in that the inner and outer faces are dressed with traditional materials. 6) Prefabricated panel according to claim 1, characterized in that on the outer side between the thermal insulator and the covering is formed an air gap ventilated from the bottom and possibly the top. 7) Prefabricated panel according to claim 1, characterized in that the wooden strip (5) can be discontinuous. 8) Prefabricated panel according to claim 1, characterized in that it consists of a single element over the entire wall.
