Abstract

Public illumination instrument of the type comprising a reflector closed by a transparent and/or translucent member, characterised in that the reflector 1 and the said member 2 are sealed together, in an inseparable manner, this assembly comprising an orifice, normally closed by a leaktight stopper 3 allowing the introduction of the light source 6. The stopper is fixed to a base 4 which is solidly attached to the optical system and comprises the adjustment device 7 for the light source, a wire passage 11 for the supply cable and a breathing filter 10.
