Abstract

Signal or beacon device intended to be placed on a crash barrier. According to the invention, the device, which carries a reflecting lens 12, includes a plinth 13 defining a middle strip 22 extended by two wide hooks 24, 25 whose end parts 28 are shaped to at least approximately match the outer portion of the crash barrier 14. The signalling means may also be housed in the hollow of the crash barrier.

1. Marking or signaling device, in particular for road or motorway, of the type comprising a mounting base (13) shaped to adapt to a profiled metal safety barrier (14) of the type comprising a rear central strip (16) and two front ribs (17, 18) connected to said central strip on either side thereof, each rib having a free rear edge (19) parallel to said central strip, characterized in that said base is essentially consisting of a section of flexible material comprising a median strip

(22) of a width suitable for marrying the rear face of said median strip (16) and extended by two large hooks (24, 25), the outer parts (28) of which are shaped to match at least approximately at least the outer portions of said ribs from their rear edges

2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that said hooks (24, 25) are shaped to match said ribs

(17, 18) up to the front faces (30) thereof.

3. Device; according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that each hook comprises a wing (26) inclined relative to said median strip (22) and dimensioned to extend substantially to the free rear edge (19) of the corresponding rib and in that this wing is extended by an end portion (28) above.

4. Device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized

in that one of the hooks externally comprises a veil (32) coming from molding, perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of said median strip

and in that this veil forms the support for a marking or signaling means
