Abstract

Freezers and refrigerators in which the cooling is carried out by chilled air piping with a defined shape, in the thickness of the insulating walls, the usual freon pipes supplying this air via the draught from a fan. The latter is arranged vertically in order to lighten the rotor by reaction. Defrosting is carried out by stopping the fans. Extraction of the water is automatic. The compartments have walls which are externally and horizontally corrugated in order to reduce losses by convection. Their walls can be completely dismantled and their dimensions can be much larger than those of usual appliances. They have self-levelling feet.
