Abstract

The invention consists of insulating panels 1 covered with layers of coating 2 and 4 sandwiching a glass fabric 3 protruding from the insulating panels 1. The coating 4 is produced in such a way that it forms, on the periphery of the panels, grooves receiving, on site, a coating 5 providing a mechanical and sealed bond between the panels. The invention is particularly intended for the external thermal insulation of residential buildings or the like.

Description

The present invention relates to a particular way of assembling in the factory the various components constituting the thermal insulation processes from the outside in the technique known as "thin coatings on insulator" and thus constitute ready-to-use insulating plates.

The assembly of the various components is traditionally done "IN SITU" on site and requires many labor operations.

Certain processes called clothing include, assembled in the factory, an insulating core and a decorative and waterproof surface skin, but, they reveal horizontal and vertical joints which make a questionable aesthetic appearance. These clothes also require the use of numerous metallic or other accessories to resolve the singular points of the facades, which increases the supply prices and the labor time. In addition, the cutting of the clothing turns out to be tricky considering that the sealing barriers on the perimeter of the plates are broken.

The product according to the invention overcomes all these drawbacks. Each insulating plate is coated in the factory with the plaster layers usually applied on site. The glass cloth, usually mounted on site in a layer of plaster and laid by a meter wide with overlap of ten centimeters over the entire height of the facades to be insulated, is sandwiched between two layers of plaster. This glass cloth protrudes by five centimeters and does not adhere to the lower coating layer, except under the upper coating. The lower coating layer extends over the entire surface of a plate. The upper coating layer stops at five centimeters from the edge of the plates, so that by placing several plates edge to edge there is an overlap of glass cloth over ten centimeters. With several plates positioned thus, we see a groove will appear at the periphery of the plates. This groove is then ten centimeters wide and its depth is equal to the upper plaster layers previously applied in the factory.

It is sufficient to fill this groove with coating to obtain a mechanical, flat and sealed connection between the plates. Next, a printing layer and the decorative coating layer are applied as is usually done in the "thin coatings on insulation" technique.

The essential object of the invention is therefore to improve the techniques known as "thin plasters and clothing" so that the insulating plates thus prepared in the factory are applicable on site by reducing labor-time and allowing a seamless finish. apparent.

The device according to the invention also includes, using the same technique, inward and outward angles, special plates intended for the surrounding of doors and openings.

The plates can be fixed on the facades to be insulated by gluing or by mechanical fixing through the plates, or using a special profile fixed to the wall.

The finishing coating can also be applied in the factory on the surface delimited by the peripheral groove of each plate. On site, once the plate is fixed, we will proceed in the same way as described above: filling the grooves, applying the printing layer and finally the decorative coating.

The device according to the invention may comprise all or part of the coatings necessary for the production of the plates.

The device according to the invention can have different widths of the grooves formed between the plates thus causing a dimensional modification of the glass fabric overhangs.

The present invention is particularly intended for thermal insulation from the outside of various dwellings and premises and is in no way limited to those of these modes of application which have been more especially envisaged, on the contrary it embraces all variants.
