Abstract

A post for fences consists of a lower part (1) made as a plastic pressed or injection moulding if necessary reinforced by a metal core (1'). An upper part (2) also made of the same material fits over the reduced dia. (4) of the lower part and has pairs of arms (5,6) to which the fencing (8) can be attached by rivets or screws (7). The bottom end (3) is fitted with an auger to screw post into the soil.
