Abstract

The plant stake consists of a foot or base part (A) to which a series of modular elements (B) are screwed. The base forms the lower part of the stake, its lower end (1) being sharpened and designed to be pushed into the ground. The upper end (2) of the base is formed into a threaded socket. The lower end of the upper modules carries a length of threaded rod (3), which screws into the socket on the foot. The upper end of the modular elements also carries a threaded socket (4) of the same size as the foot, to allow for the use of a further modular element (C), which can be used to extend the height of the stake. Alternatively, a closing cap (R) can be screwed into an open socket to seal the top of the unit.
