Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible to stabilise a flower pot securely, together with its saucer, on the ground, and to hang it. It consists of a support plate (1) for receiving the saucer (7), including three holding tabs (3) exhibiting recesses (4) intended to receive the lower hook (6) of a connection rod (2), the upper hook (5) of this connection rod (2) previously being installed on the upper rim of the flower pot (8), these operations securing the various elements together. The upper hook (5) of the connection rod (2) allows passage and holding of a chain link (9) in order to hang the whole device. The device according to the invention is intended for stabilising a flower pot, in conjunction with its saucer, on the ground, and for hanging it.

Description

 The present invention relates to a device for stabilizing on the ground a set of small and medium dimensions formed by a pot of ornamental plants and its saucer exposed to the wind and also allowing suspension of these elements.

 Generally the flowerpots have a frustoconical shape whose base on the ground constituted by the smallest surface does not always ensure a sufficient base to resist the force of the winds, the volume of the ornamental plant contributing to the destabilization of the pot whose weight is not important enough to compensate for this effect; the saucer traditionally associated with the plant pot does not provide additional stability to the pot despite a larger surface of contact with the ground. The grip of the pot and its saucer all in one place to make changes of location during the seasons and the suspension of the whole are difficult to achieve.

 The device according to the invention makes it possible to remedy these drawbacks. It makes the pot - saucer assembly integral with each other with the device itself, thereby increasing the contact surface area of the pot which then corresponds to that of the saucer. providing better stability by increasing the seat on the ground and thereby increasing the weight of the pot which can partially compensate for the wind resistance offered by the plants. The grip of the assembly produced is improved. The suspension can be made by adding a chain.ES in addition, the device overcomes the lack of rigidity of some saucers made of plastic, for installation in suspension.

 It is in fact made up according to a first characteristic of a support plate for receiving a saucer united comprising three peripheral holding tabs, arranged at I200 relative to each other, which have recesses for the insertion of hooks of rods link; the three tabs folded against the saucer, enclose it to hold it while the three connecting rods with hooks grip on the one hand on the upper edge of the pot while the other end snaps into a tongue recess making the elements interdependent.

According to particular embodiments
- the dimensions of the saucer receiving support plate can be varied to allow the reception of saucers of different diameters.

 - The three peripheral holding tabs may include several recesses for fixing the connecting rods with hooks allowing the use of the device for pots of different heights.

 - the length of the connecting rods with hooks can be adapted for different heights of plant pots.

 - The hook of the connecting rod engaged on the upper edge of the pot can allow the passage and the maintenance of a chain link to suspend the assembly: device - plant pot - saucer.

 With reference to these drawings, the device is composed of a circular receiving support plate (I) which receives the saucer (7) and comprises three peripheral tongues (3) with recesses (4) arranged at I200 relative to one another. to the others which are folded against the outer rim of the saucer (7) enclosing the latter for its retention; three connecting rods (2) comprising an upper hook (5) folded internally at I200 and a lower hook (6) folded internally at I000 are placed by the upper hook (5) on the upper edge of the pot (8) installed beforehand in its saucer (7), opposite the three risk periphery tabs with recesses (3), the lower hook (6) of each connecting rod (2) snapping into a corresponding recess (4) on each of the three tabs (3).

 According to a variant not illustrated, fold lines can be preformed at the base of the three tongues (3) peripheral holding function of saucers (7) of different diameters.

 The holding tabs (3) may include several recesses (4) receiving the connecting rods (2) with hooks which can themselves be of different length to correspond to various heights of pot (8).
