Abstract

The stop (5) defines an open position and a catch (4) a closed position, while both stop and catch have respective anchoring plates (11,13). A flat hook (3) is carried by the leaf (1,2), pivots about an axis (8) perpendicular to its plane, and has two notches (6,14) that cooperate with one or the other of the anchoring plates. The two notches are symmetrical w.r.t. the catch pivot axis on the opposed hook faces, and a blocking finger (19) moves the hook to engage the notches on the anchoring plates.

Claims

1. Locking device of a movable leaf has an open position limited by a stop (5) and a closed position limited by a stopper (4), comprising a hook (3) with slot (6) of engagement with a hooking plate (11), this hook (3) being plane and associated with a pivot axis (8) perpendicular to its plane, characterized in that said hook (3) is mounted on the movable leaf (1 , 2) while a hooking plate (11) is fixed to the stop (5) and a hooking plate (13) is fixed to the stopper (4).

2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the hook (3) has a first slot (6) intended to engage with the plate (11) of the stop (5) and a second slot (14) intended to hook with the plate (13) of the stopper (4).

3. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the first slot (6) and the second slot (14) are arranged substantially symmetrically with respect to the axis (8) on the opposite edges of the hook (3).

5. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a mounting element (20) fixing to the movable leaf (1,2) and having a yoke (22) with two branches (23) spaced and pierced to contain a hook (3) and the axis (8) of the latter.

6. Device according to claim 5, characterized in that the mounting element (20) comprises an elongated bracket (21) with two wings at 900, the yoke (22) being arranged perpendicular to these wings at one end of the '' square (21).
