Abstract

The guide for a roller blind enables roller blinds to be attached to window openings of existing and old buildings, where the wall can be misaligned and where windows of different sizes are to be protected. At each end of the box housing the rolled blind is a vertical channel (34), with a funnel shaped top entry (24). Behind the channel is a hollow tube (12) into which is inserted the foot (14) of a strap, which supports the box and the spin spindle of the blind. Also inserted into the hollow tube is the base of a bracket (22) which supports the funnel shaped guide. Attached to the sides are brackets with slotted holes for adjusting screws, so that the whole can be aligned a suitable distance from the support surface.
